Looking through some monthly splits, it looks like there's a number of players that had poor to middlin' April/Mays, but have had strong Junes. In particular, it's nice to see 2021 prospect darlings, Hedbert Perez and Joe Gray Jr. with strong months of June.

Gasser's improvement lately, too, has been very very important to see.

Does seem like there are quite a few guys who started really slow so their overall numbers look pretty average but they have been really good lately.

At A:

Gregory Barrios had a 22 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 105 wRC+ with a 128 wRC+ in June.

Jadher Areinamo had a 42 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 95 wRC+.

Then you obviously mentioned Hebert Perez.

At A+:

Robert Moore had a 69 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 122 wRC+ with a 139 wRC+ in June.

Darrien Miller had a 42 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 133 wRC+.

Then you obviously mentioned Joe Gray Jr.

He's not an obvious candidate for this because before today June had been his lowest OPS month, but over the offseason and through the first two months, the biggest knock on Jeferson Quero had been his walk rate. I believe it is roughly 20% in June.  Hopefully today's homer can be the start of him combining the power he showed in May with June's more patient approach. If he can manage to do that ...

Absolutely a big improvement. If he can combine the power with a better approach then watch out.
