Okay if it's about actual production...then how can you say we have had no success?

Wong, Renfroe, Peterson, Urias, Tellez, Adames are all guys we acquired in the last 3 years and all of them hit better with the Brewers than they had before they got to Milwaukee

Atlanta R/G: 2021 (9), 2022 (3), 2023 (2)

Milwaukee R/G: 2021 (15), 2022 (10), 2023 (26)

Please point to where I ever said Milwaukee develops hitters better than Atlanta? I never even mentioned Atlanta. I just pushed back against the idea that Arcia is some glaring success story for Atlanta when he's way overperforming his underlying numbers.

I mean he's an all-star this year with a 1.8 fWAR and 112 wRC+. To say that isn't a success story, when he was literally one of, if not the worst, hitter(s) in baseball during his tenure with the Brewers pretty much flies in the face of reality.

And he's way overperforming his xwOBA, so this success isn't sustainable. Also the whole All-Star thing is a joke because he would not have made the team if it wasn't for the fan vote.

Arcia in 2020 - .338 xwOBA in 189 PA

We traded Arcia in 2021 and he barely played in the MLB.

Arcia in 2022 - .329 xwOBA in 234 PA

Arcia in 2023 - .311 xwOBA in 233 PA

Going into his start Tuesday, In his 9 previous starts, not including the one where he left with an injury, Miley went 7 innings once, 6 innings four times (including his most recent start) and 5 innings 4 times.

There was no reason to expect that he would be hit with an uncharacteristic bout of wildness and only make it through 4 innings.

Seven of those nine starts were before he went on the IL, so they aren't relevant.  This was his third start since coming off of the IL, and in the first two he threw 77 and 69 pitches.

After the last four innings of constant no hit alerts, what's BA going to talk about for the next three?

Ah, tell him to stop talking so much ... let Vinny speak!

Where's 2018 and 2019? Anyways, I'm done with this conversation. If you think there's no difference between Arcia with the Brewers and Arcia with the Braves, then there's no point.

As I said, he went 6 innings in his most recent start and 5 in the one before that so I think that is relevant. Maybe you expected him to only go 4 innings, but I doubt if Counsell did.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Yeah, in his time away, he has forgotten that you don't talk about no hitters during a no hitter.  Little leaguers even know that.
