That is the most ridiculous superstition (and nonsense) in all of sports. I saw the end of the perfect game the other day and for the last few innings the announcers were talking openly about what was going on, including an out by out countdown. And, lo and behold, the perfect game still happened. 

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
