I would teach every little kid to play like Adames and wiemer.     Be athletic enough to be a good defender you don’t have to be the best.    But just good enough

 

and then just have a big long uppercut swing.    Swing at everything super hard.    Who cares about recognizing the pitch or making contact, etc.    just get to that 15-20 home run mark and you will play forever in the majors.      All you really need to do is make good contact about 16 times out of 500-600 plate appearances

I have never seen a Brewers team swing at more 2-0 counts when the pitch is not even close to a strike. It is clear they are being taught to get ahead and swing as hard as you can regardless. Hitting philosophy needs complete overhaul.
