I just mentioned to my brother that Made is on the exact same trajectory as Chourio.

If Made rips up AA next year I wonder if Pratt becomes the hottest trade ticket in the league at the deadline...

Maybe? I think Made is our future 3B but that's just my opinion.

As expected, a total of 6 home games for us with him here in Appleton.

Happy for us as Brewers fans, sad for us as TRats fans.

Disappointing. Really figured he would at least start in Appleton, give me a chance to get over there for a game. Pena, Dinges, Fisher will keep it worth my while. They sure need some pitching though from what I've seen.

That is the intriguing part of it indeed. Maybe Pratt starts in MS and bumps up to Nash by June. Burke, Wilken, Adams, Pratt, Made, lara... that should be a fun team to watch as it currently stands though. Now if they would just get the tv production upgraded...

So Patrick will be the spot starter tonight (makes most sense rather than a pure bullpen game since Chad could give innings if he pitches well).

Hoskins returned to the Brewers as expected, now the battle for playing time between he and Vaughn. But with Yelich down that leaves a DH spot for Contreras/Bauers/Hoskins/Vaughn to compete for in addition to the 1B and C duties.

Siegler will not get playing time again in Nashville, probably both at 3B and C.

But Cornielle - whoa. That's surprising. I guess it is a let's see if you want to sign as a minor league FA, or become worthy of a 40 man spot??

C Victor Torres placed on Development List

This does not bode well for Torres to get chances for his first base hit of 2025.

He is 0-for-23 in five games with the Timber Rattlers and four with the Shuckers. He has walked three times, scored a run, and notably, has only struck out twice!

Not sure Dinges and Fischer starting in Appleton is a given either...  Pena, based on how he played since being moved up, should almost surely start out in A-town in 2026.

Both Dinges and Fischer will be interesting- likely in AA since that the Brewers M. O.  But a short stint in high A to have them really start in a comfortable offensive environment while getting a few more defensive innings and reps would be reasonable. But I do agree those 2 likely end up in AA.

Weird one. Thought we’d give him another year in A ball.

Harry Holgeen was a fun name to hear.

I had thought he had a decent year too.  Well, I remember his may.  1100 ops in May. Under 500 ops the rest of the way.  Ouch.

With his last start of his season completed and in the literal books, RHP Garrett Stallings does his new partner a solid. Stallings is transferred to the Development List. LHP Nate Peterson is transferred to the active Sounds roster from the Development List. Everybuddy gets a late-season participation trophy. Good luck, Nate!

Ernesto Martinez’ 2025 MiLB season is over.  He was placed on the Development List earlier this week and is no longer in the states as he will be playing for the French Men’s Senior Team competing for the Baseball European Championship.  Colin Walsh (Ireland) and Noah Zavolas (Greece) are also set to compete.

Thanks for the update ARobs.

EMJ signed as a minor league free agent to return with the club last year if I remember correctly. And would therefore me a free agent again at season's end, with Burke, Adams, Boeve and even Bitonti all fighting for 1B/DH roles in the minors and A. Vaughn still arbitration eligible, I have to think this will be the end of EMJ's time with the Brew Crew, and if so (I may be wrong on some of my assumptions), he should latch on to a team needing a left handed bat with some power potential who can handle 1st with first rate splits ability.
