We have a 2016 Honda Civic sedan with the dumbest upholstery in the history of cars. I am looking to get car seat covers and am wondering if anyone has gotten them before. The universal fit options on Amazon are really cheap ($30 for front and back seats) or you can pay $300 - $600+ for custom fit. We drive our cars into the ground, so we'll have this vehicle for another 5+ years most likely. I am ok with universal fit as long as they look nice, actually fit like they are supposed to,  and last a while but I have my doubts they meet all three of those criteria.

I liked the ones I bought from WeatherTech for my last vehicle unfortunately they don’t have any for my current vehicle.  It was more of a sheet for the back seats but that is what I needed for my dog.

It’s a real trade-off. The cheap universal ones never really fit right, but custom covers can burn a hole in your wallet. I’ve heard WeatherTech works well, especially if you have a pet.

If anyone cares (probably not), I ended up going with a company called ShearComfort. They were a bit pricier than the other places I was looking at but they were Better Business Bureau certified and others were not. Given overall cost and the fact that I've never used anything like this that was the deciding factor for me.  Very happy with the purchase. almost looks like original interior until you look close.
