What happens if we do get over .500?

 

It will be akin to Columbus finding the New World (was it lost?).

I will just open up some brave new world. Maybe it will be best to leave that door closed. Heck, if we get to .500, we may actually hope for .550 one year.

Actually, with RISP is one of the situations I start to look at *gasp* batting average more. Not that hitting for power or walking isn't always good, but pretty much always going to score your basic non-slug from 2B on a single.
