The wiggle, yeah he's been doing it the whole year, I think he said in an interview he started it a couple years ago when he first started pro ball as a timing reminder....I forget exactly when though...

I've never noticed him moving the back bat and forth that much. I thought it was a much gentler motion. That bat really gets moving. Or maybe I just dont pay enough attention to the players batting stances'. Either Or.

i'm pretty sure i recall an article on the bat waggle indicating that he started it in the Arizona Fall league between his stints in AA and AAA as a timing mechanism to slow his swing down and not get out in front of the ball so much.
