I'm also glad that he also refers to a league average OPS; that helps people get used to the stat.

 

I'd love it if he did league average by position, but I think the way it's being presented is simpler for now.

Bill: "blah blah blah..." something of an explanation.

 

How about runner on second with one out is a situation where a bunt does not help because with 2 outs a sac fly does not score the run? I'm firmly of the belief that you bunt in that situation every single time.

-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.

Personally, with the pitcher up, I think you do bunt there. At least make it a productive out. It worked out well this time, but Ohka sould have been bunting there.

 

Ways you can score from third with two outs:

 

WP, PB, infield hit, balk, error

Not that I want to jinx this or anything, but through 3 Tomo looks like he did in the first start w/ the Brewers. Few base runners here and there, but getting out of it and pitching well.
