Baseball season is too long...I can't take:

 

- hearing "Wes Helms is __ for __ as a pinch hitter this year (cue graphics of major league pinch hit leaders)" every time Wes comes to the plate.

 

- hearing Schroeder say "a little too close to take with two strikes" on a pitch that was 8 inches outside.

 

- Sutton's favorite: "Rickie Weeks has now hit in 37 of his 56 big league games."

 

I guess the silver lining of not caring in August is not having to hear the same things every night.
