I worked tonight, but you gotta like Wes' numbers in his second start, especially considering his personal life.

 

Sure would be nice to underestimate a player's worth. Two very nice outings thus far.

Regardless of the W/L for the rest of the year, hopefully Wes can keep going out and give the Crew 6 decent innings and stablize the rotation a little bit.

I guess guys like Podsednik and Wes are proof that scouting reports and projections aren't correct every time.

Considering what we gave up and that we are in last place,it would have been hard for us to get hosed in dealing Curtis.Wes looks good so far even if its only 2 starts,but i found the Rocks game more impressive.That Mets lineup is bad and thats being kind.

We will have to wait and see how Wes pitches when the book is out on him. Matt Kinney looked great earlier in the year until other teams developed good scouting reports on him. Now Matt looks average at best.

 

Hopefully, Wes has mure success than Matt has.been having.

 

Pitchers always have an advantage the first time around. I would be more interested in how he pitches, say against Houston, Chicago or St Louis, the second time he faces them.

I agree on two points Wes deserves to start some more,and yes we need to see what happens when the league gets to know him.

 

But at least unlike Kinney he does not seem to throw Gopher ball .
