Aggresivness is starting to anger me.....when are they going to realize that every time an out is made on the bases thats a potential run that we ARENT scoring!!!

The Cardinals middle infield has almost zero range. Neither of them are bad defenders, per se, but they sure are going to give up a lot of seeing eye singles.

Steal Junior, steal. No, let us go for a hit and run without the batter swining, and the runner stop-starting.

I'm very impressed with Lyle's plate discipline thus far in 2005. He really got away from that in the second half last year. The fact that he's taking close pitches and drawing walks is super encouraging.

BTW, Bill Schroeder just said something interesting. He said that runners at first base should take their lead a bit in front of the base line 'cause it looks to the pitcher like your lead is smaller.

By golly, that IS interesting. Wonder if it's true...

Did you know that Ned Yost had a good relationship with his catcher, Eddie Perez, last year?

Me neither, but that's what Bill Schroeder just said.

I know 2004 sucked, but it *did* happen, Bill. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I am getting so sick of these strikeouts. What a waste of an inning. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

Nothing he says shocks me anymore.

Nice to see a pitcher get the bunt down, eh?

They should make all of the Brewers starters watch a tape of that.

First Rolen and now Pujols...I was hoping they'd wait to get hot until they left town.

I'm sure glad that Pujols was ice cold coming into Milwaukee so that he could pound the bejeebus out of the ball a few times when he got here...
