Shoddy defense by the A's spots us a run. It's okay though, Spivey did the same for them.

What's the record for posts in a single thread?

You mean posts all by the same person? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah, that's what I meant.

I know, though, you're helping the fans out of broadcast range.

I just logged in and found it kind of funny to see the same on 90% of the posts on this thread.

Good way to rack up rank points http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Now you exposed my true motives. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I thought about just editing like SBS did, but figured it be nice to read whatever comments were interspersed at the same time. Little did I know there wouldn't be anyhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah, it was definitely good to hear Uecker again. And with a lot of snow melting today, you really get the feeling spring is almost here!

SAVE - DERRICK TURNBOW (1)

Are they going to jack up his save total in ST games, then trade him off Kolb-style?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

LOL, maybe The Nugget Miner is taking his closer factory to the next level.

I still kind of hope that Turnbow makes the team... how many floppy-eared relievers can you pick up for free that can throw 100 miles per hour? If Maddux can help him put things together, he's got the stuff to be an elite hurler. And even if he just flashes his potential for a month or two, the fact that he hits triple digits on the radar gun will make him very attractive in trade talks.

Anyway, hopefully we'll see a box score soon.

EDIT: Oh, and a huge thanks to ja002h for the in-game updating.... much appreciated!!!

Couldn't agree more Batman, he's much better than, to borrow a phrase from BP, "overpaid veteran chaff" that's out there every offseason. I think he'll definitely get a spot in the pen, unless they really think it's in Capellan's best interests development-wise to sit and rot in the pen (it's not).

Just got back from the game. Weeks, Fielder and Hart all signed my program, thanks to my wife!! She did all the work.

Notes:

Turnbow was throwing serious heat and batters looked completly overmatched.

Housman is very very smooth.

Not a lot of offense but...

Jenkins hit the ball hard again today. I have seen every at bat so far this spring and Jenkins has hit the ball hard every single time.

Hardy looks very polished at shortstop.

Weeks hit a screamer to left but it was flagged down.

Prince has a huge dome and will be the king of bucketheads.

Lee is the biggest guy I have ever seen wear a brewer uniform. He is huge. Looks bigger than Fielder.

Turnbow was the most impressive pitcher. Could close if contiues to throw strikes.

Helms had a very nice rip to center and looks a LOT thinner.

According to my wife, Cory Hart's haircut is "ludacris". Thats bad.

Got to see Palmisano walk around the dugout. He looks like an athlete.

Once again, not a lot of offensive action but a nice solid well played game.

3-0. Can't complain.

Off to Suprise manana!
