Jeffress Suspended for drug use - new info?

Only reason I thought he might visit WV again is that it is close to his family, and he made need that support system early on...I'm sure that's just wishful thinking on my part!

Alright, I finally went back to count how many games WV played after Jeffress was suspended. The last game Jeffress pitched in was August 28th.

 

They had 5 more games to close out the regular season, and 6 games in the playoffs. Jeffress wasn't eligible for the playoffs, so I'm guessing those 6 games count. If so, he has 39 more games to serve. If not, he has 45.

 

If it's 39, the first scheduled (scheduled meaning rain-outs are likely to occur early in the season) game (whether he's assigned to WV or BC) that he will be eligible to play in is on Thursday, May 15th, vs. Lake County if he's with WV, vs. Jupiter if he's with BC.

 

If he still has 45 games to serve, the first scheduled game he will be eligible for is Wednesday, May 21 (vs. Lake County or Sarasota).

 

And that's without knowing whether or not the Brewers tacked on any more games to his suspension for failing the 2nd, club administered, test.
