Because he never touched the ball. No matter how routine the play may seem, if you don't at least get glove on it, it will go as a hit 99% of the time. Tough break for Benny's ERA, but that is the way it is. Unfortunately, even more troubling is that REALLY puts the Crew in a hole against Oswalt. 1 ok.....3 not so much.

Why no billy Hall today? He has great #'s against Oswalt.

That was a different Bill Hall. Until we get him back, well, who knows
