Since most teams came away empty-handed, a lot could be done in the coming days or weeks for trades. Here are my scenarios.

 

Trade 1, if Rolen and LaRussa continue to wreck each other.

 

Brewers get:

3B Scott Rolen

PTBNL

$7 million

 

Cardinals get:

P Chris Capuano

SS Alcides Escobar

IF Adam Heether

Trade 2:

 

Twins get:

Red Sox get:

Trade 3, this deal is based on issues for the Braves not getting value for the loss of Druw Jones:

 

Braves get:

OF Andre Ethier

 

Dodgers get:

P Will Ohman

Mid-level prospect

I'd have a hard time believing the Brewers take on Rolen if they have to pay $31 million over three years, but that's just me.

 

I'd have no problems with that trade otherwise.
