Shannon Stewart

I'm beginning to think a Shannon Stewart/ Gabe Gross platoon may be OK. Any thoughts?

I assume Stewart will go somewhere to start in LF or DH, but that platoon would decent, but so would Dillon/Gross. I liked Stewart last year when he was coming off an injury, as he would have been cheaper then.

how old is stewart now? How much would he cost?

He's pretty old, 34 I think. I did see somewhere that he only made $1 million last year, but is now seeking a multi year deal. I'd give him 2 years for 6-7 million total - heck they gave somewhere in that ballpark to Counsell. I think he'd be perfect to drop in the two hole, he never strikes out, and still has decent speed. Doesn't appear to be a liability in the field either. The more I look at this, the more I like it.
