I was looking on minorleaguebaseball.com and it says Sarfate is in Hermosillo playing winter ball. Isn't that a lot of innings for Sarfate already. I also saw that Zumwalt is in Venezuela. Those guys have had a long year. What the reasoning for them to go to winter ball after the AFL?

AZ Fall League Thread -- Season Complete for Brewers' Kids
BaseballGod replied to DHonks's topic in Brewers Minor League Talk
You should go to a game before you talk about the results. Sarfate gave up two groundball errors that were called hits. The wild pitch on the strike out would have been caught by a regular catcher like bobby wilson. Also sitting by the scouts he was 96- 98 mph on the gun. he is over matching these hitters. 7 K's in 3 innings -
I know the brewers have some guys out of options next spring. Is there a chance a guy like sarfate makes the 25 man out of spring or maybe a AAA veteran like krynzel or hendrickson. Did Sarfate do well enough in September to get a serious chance or would a guy with his arm be tradable?
