I love how I keep hearing about Steven Vogt coming back as if he's some sort of savior. Next we'll see Kevin Mench come walking down the tunnel with Daron Sutton giving the play-by-play.

They mentioned that Cincy lost 14 of 16 coming out of the break. Not sure how that compares with the Brewers. I think slightly worse, until this ass-whooping.

Pretty much. The worst part is is that I pretty much fell for them this year -- thinking they were having one of "those seasons". I should have known the regression was coming; I just didn't know it was coming this quick.

I don't like this move. Mauer is looking to dump the ball into LF, feel like Drake gives him a good chance to do that. Hope I'm wrong.

There was an article not too long ago about Pitch/FX and the reliability of it's data. The end result to me was that the Std Dev was too great in terms of inches both vertically and horizontally for me to even care about it anymore. FWIW...just about nil, IMHO. A standard deviation of inches seems shocking to me; not questioning it. To my average eyesight, it looks as though the computer takes note of pitch location in relation closer to where it's caught rather than where it crosses home plate. Maybe my timing is off but the location shown is always off a little bit to my eye when they show that in slow-motion.
