Come on, you know the 2B leafs off!!! Counsells adherence to his lineup strategy is maddening. I was happy to see Thames and Santana leading off for a few days. Sigh..... I was about to post something similar. Not sure why - if Sogard must play - he needs to be in the leadoff spot. I'd rather see if we can jump-start Villar in the 6 or 7 spot and throw just about anybody else at leadoff than either Sogard or Villar.

Probably would have had Villar bunt the runners over, to be honest. Yeah, give up a big inning for one more. Don't want to risk a doubleplay. But now it's a strikeout anyway..
