  1. No one is forced to read it, but it's hilarious. Relentless mopery.
  2. I voted 4. Not very difficult to upgrade the problems though. 3B and RF. Ortiz isn't going anywhere, nor should he in my opinion. With the pitching we have (when healthy) I'm fine with an all-glove SS.
  3. Lol. Ok. Excellent contribution to the thread.
  4. Agreed and it's not as if it would be terribly expensive to shore up the right side of the infield or just promote guys that are likely to be as good or better. I would still like another reliever and another starter (not anyone expensive, just decent). Replacing Woodford with a good reliever could make a big difference.
  5. This is also true. It doesn't free you of the consequences though.
  6. I don't begrudge anyone who laughed. And I don't care when players celebrate. I'm an act-like-you've-been-there-before guy, but I get that sports are emotional. Just keep the opponents out of it as much as possible would be my take.
  7. If LaRussa and Yost were managing there would be 8 beanballs today. Fortunately it sounds like these 2 managers aren't children.
  8. I know you are. I'm merely responding to your feigned disbelief.
  9. He's not though. That's the thing. Uribe acted like a clown and his manager rightfully called him on his b.s.
  10. It's a fair question. My answer would be Lara. Frelick stinks.
  11. Brewers would be 28th on the waiver wite anyway. I agree they won't release him but even if they did he'd never get to them. Which brings me to my point: How big would Arnold's stones have to be to call Boston and see what they wanted for him.........
