If the Dodgers are really interested in Kevin Mench, like many sources seem to indicate, and with Doug Melvin saying that he wouldn't mind having a power left hander in the bullpen...I propose that this trade be consumated: Dodgers get: Kevin Mench Greg Aquino Brewers get: Hong-Chih Kuo Watch the videos of Kuo on the dodgers website and you will see a very impressive 94-97 mph fastball and some very impressive strikeout totals. In 59.2 innings last year he had 71 strikeouts...pretty impressive. He started a few games last year but also came out of the bullpen for a number of games. Since the Red Sox have now officially signed J.D. Drew...they now have Ramirez, Drew, Hinske, Crisp, and Wily Mo Pena on the team...and with Ortiz DHing most of the time...not much playing time for Pena/Hinske. They might still be looking at a closer at this time since they don't have a definite choice at the moment...so how about this? Red Sox get: RHP Derrick Turnbow OF Brady Clark SP Ben Hendrickson Brewers get: CF Coco Crisp LHP Craig Breslow Breslow has great AAA numbers and did very well in limited action for the major league club last year as a lefty out of the pen. Our outfield alignment could then be Hall, Crisp, and Hart/Jenkins. Trade Mench for prospects or something.

get him...besides the great defense in CF and highlight reel plays, he has hit .297, and .300 the two previous years before his injury shortened 2006. He's a switch hitter and would be great for our leadoff man. What would it take to get him?
