  1. DishNetwork here. Got the crappy WMLW broadcast. They stretch the SD picture to look like a fake HD picture which I hate. They had the game listed on a couple other channels but when I tuned there they just had the Dish logo & music playing. Its like they forgot to switch on the broadcast. Im in Eagle BTW. Also sub to mlb.tv. What a great way to promo that service by lifting blackouts like these. Wish they would offer a blackout free premium mlb.tv. Would pay extra for that!
  2. its much improved in sd out here in Eagle off Dishnetwork.
  3. You can watch out of market games. If you're in Milwaukee you won't see any games involving the Brewers but will see ALL other games involving all the other teams. You have to watch the crew on tv in Milwaukee. You can watch archived games with no restrictions 45 minutes after the game is complete. So if you get home at midnight from a party & the Brewers game ended at 11 pm you should be able to watch it then. You can get audio with no blackouts whatsoever with mlb.tv premium. Its a great value. I enjoy watching the NL central teams. This season they have picture in picture, dvr capabilities, 4 games at once, both tv feeds when available. HD capable if you have the bandwith. You can try for a month & see if you like it. More pricey that way though.
  4. BP out in Eagle has credited me with reciepts I pumped afer hours. This is a real sweet deal. Keep the receipts.
  5. I'll be the fat old guy looking somewhat lost but with no tatoos. Leaving in a few minutes! Bringing the wifey in case anyone wants to talk knitting.
  6. I miss the green they had in the old unis. The new ones are boring. IMO a one syllable name is clumsy & awkward sounding. Rays doesn't really fit on a uniform front very well unless you have a chest like Wally Cox. I miss the green in the Brewers unis as well. The Tampa franchise should have embraced their past instead of what they did. Hiding it in the closet is whimpy.
  7. IMO the Brewers renting out MP for an extra 81 games would void out their contract with the stadium board. Its the same as if your family rents an apartment, you only have 2 children but your brother & his 2 kids moves in after the fact. In this instance its proper for the landlord to receive extra money over that stipulated in the original rental agreement. More wear & tear on the property etc equals more money going to the landlord. (us) I would rent MP for $1,000,000 a game to the Cubs. The Brewers would get this income. All parking revenue, concessions, extra advertising revenue, party permits, any other fees I'm not aware of etc should go to the Stadium board. (taxpayers) This additional revenue should be used to pay down the debt owed on Miller Park & if this debt is paid off then go into a rainy day fund for the ballpark. In this way the tax burden on the public would be lessened &, or retired.
  8. Have been up there couple times this season. The bar area is roomier & brighter. The dining area looks much the same except brighter. The patio still has slow service & high prices for an ordinary brat or hot dog. We go up there to use the bathrooms. SteveA
  9. Casey mlb should hire you as their media ambassador to the fans!!! Is that national map of all the team home market areas still online? SteveA
  10. Got my tics today via FedEx also! Out here in Eagle. I have 3 20 packs & think I can use Brewers Ticket Replay. Couple of my games were listed when I checked.
  11. I have 3 20 packs, think I'm gonna pass on playoffs. Baseball thanks the loyal Brewers fans for their 25 years of patience by jacking the prices 625%?????? We're not going to make the playoffs anyway. Moot point.
  12. I'm attending both Saturday & Sunday & if he ties or breaks the record I'll be totally silent. I think stony silence at such a momentous time would speak volumns, much more so than booing.
  13. You could use .300 club passes & sit on the patio & watch the game seated at the tables up there. I like the standing area out in right field loge, very breezy & cool, but the infield is quite a ways off. lots if "interesting " folks congregate up there! My fav spot to stand & watch is field level behind the plate. You get the same view as the founders suites! If you hold off eating you could also get a table with a view at Fridays.
  14. Just use the hill across the access road! LOL No kidding opening day there was a chick up there taking a leak. No folliage & facing the lot, unbelievable! Welcome to another baseball season!!!!
  15. I was at the game today in 214 & thought of you guys sitting out in that sun! I get my tickets on the first base side to avoid the dead of the summer sun! You do have the advantage on those cool days when the roof is open & we freeze.
  16. The .300 club is a fine dining restaurant with a couple hundred seats on a series of tiers overlooking the outfield. Its fairly expensive dining, more pricey than TGIF for instance. You can watch the game through the windows or on tv monitors overhead. Make reservations ahead of time to dine here! There is also a seperate bar which seats maybe 100 additional people. Can watch the game from here also. There is a kind of lounge area off the bar that has comfy leather chairs & tv's where you can sit & chat & sip your favorite beverage. Couple years back the .300 club patio was added. This is the outside area where they serve sausages & cashews & chips. Seats maybe a hundred. A bit less pricey than the formal dining area. I think this is the best spot to watch the game from. You can hang in any of these areas for the entire game. That .300 club pass gets you up to the .300 club only. You need a club ticket to sit in any club seats. You also need a ticket to get into the ball park. Couple pics of the .300 club: images4.fotopic.net/?iid=...&nostamp=1 images1.fotopic.net/?iid=...&nostamp=1
  17. I might be interested. Any additional information as of yet???
