Mr. Kroenke made what I thought to be a very poor decision in declining the Brewers offer figuring the market would be quite unkind to him. Sadly I was right but I am happy he found a home. He got bad advice from someone to turn down what Mil had offered after a historically bad season at his age but it was his decision. I was quite disappointed to have been correct in his market evaluation. Short answer. Should have taken Milwaukees deal.
Wow, it's been a long time since I've been here. I just got my login information from the admin and Ill do my best to revive a dead thread. I currently only have Taylor Green Brandon Diaz and Alan Sharkey in the system. I still have many former Brewers that we all remember (Jeffress, Brantley, Ford, etc) Some have made it some didnt. I no longer work with Jalen Harris but remain a friend and after the Zach Kroenke fiasco after 9 years we too parted ways. On to happier topics I have a new podcast on Itunes and though my blog is retired sans my once a year Kurt Cobain musing however my baseball prospectus column has returned https://baseballprospectus.com/news/index.php?author=185 https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/joshua-kusnick-show/id763189955?mt=2 Looking forward to interacting with all the great brewer fans here. Finally got another Brewer up to the big leagues. Taylor deserves it. Also Salome is catching full time for seattle now while Periard is rehabbing in sea.
He's probably the best athlete they drafted, he's raw definitely a 2 year rookieball guy but he turned down a free ride to stetson to sign. He's a plus defender and he just has to keep getting baseball experience but he has a chance to be a good one.
Ironically I am actually with Lorenzo this weekend. He's been here since last night and we're headed to the dolphins vs. Bills game later today with Jeremy Haynes and Mike Brantley. I spoke to JJ as well and neither player has been contacted by the Brewers or the Royals regarding any kind of transaction so the whole pending physical scenario doesnt sound likely though anything is possible. Nothing would surprise me really but it is a bit odd that myself nor Lorenzo or JJ have yet to be contacted by the clubs if in fact a move was finalized. As of now from what I know theres absolutely nothing but rumors out there.
I have no clue where Im allowed to post this but on 9/25 Jeremy and Lorenzo will be signing autographs at Waukesha Sports cards in Milwaukee heres the link http://www.waukeshasports...ning.view/signing_id/234
I have a pretty good idea on whose coming up. I have 3 guys in the big leagues right now (Cain,Brantley,Herndon) and have a chance to have several more (Jeffress, Ford, Cassevah, Kroenke, Valiquette, Trayvon Robinson) so well see.
