  1. Looking at the splits, Jim Edmonds is 8-23 off Dempster and has 2 doubles and 2 homers. That may have an impact on it as well.
  2. Probably has something to do with Gomez going 1-15 with no walks since opening day and Hart scorching the ball last night. Not sure who else you would put in the 2 hole. Escobar hits far too many ground balls and doesn't walk enough to warrant going there.
  3. Has Corey been teaching Edmonds how to hit the slider this spring?
  4. I am looking to get rid of the following bobbleheads as I do not have room in my apartment and they continue to sit in their boxes on my shelf. Here is what I have and what I am looking to get for each (feel free to make a better offer if you feel they are too much). Cecil Cooper - Pinstripe Jersey - $10 Carlos Lee - White Jersey - $10 - SOLD Scott Podsednik - White Jersey - $10 Lyle Overbay - White Jersey - $10 Jim Gantner - Pinstripe Jersey - $10 Bill Hall - White Jersey - $10 Gorman Thomas - Pinstripe Jersey - $10 - SOLD Mini Charlie Moore - Pinstripe Jersey - $5 Mini Robin Yount - Pinstripe Jersey - $5 Shipping will be $5 for the first item and $1 for each item after that. Let me know if anyone is interested and we can figure out a form of payment then. Thanks!
  5. I see that now...I suppose I could have been more specific. Either way, this is encouraging news.
  6. According to Rotoworld, the Brewers are closing in on a 3 year deal with Wolf. Take it for what it's worth. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/HeadLines.aspx?sport=MLB&hl=279492
  7. These have all been listed on ebay. Thanks for your interest!

Otherwise, I can ship them to you for $6 for the first item and $2 for each item after that. Accepted methods of payment are PayPal (rathsacksj03@uww.edu), check, or cash. I will ship the items out as soon as I receive payment.
  9. Vouchers have been given away...Thanks for looking!
  10. I have three free Pizza Hut ticket vouchers for the first person who wants them. They are good for any Monday-Thursday game until May 27th. Each voucher is good for one terrace reserved seat or $14 off any other seat. I will mail them out as soon as I get a response. Thanks!
  11. If anything he is underrated. He's batting .500 in his career in the majors.
  12. they are automatically sold...you just need to cash them out after the earning day happens. For example at 2:30 all the players will be set to their earnings, you have to cash out every single one of these players (it is the only option you have for those players).
  13. my username is rathsacksj03 so feel free to add me as a friend as well
  14. bernie, I love that website. It sure beats doing all the research for every player on your own.
  15. here is a website that shows all of the best shorts and buys for all the sports...it is very useful: http://hixson99.bravehost.com/ProTrade.htm
  16. just regular trading....It took me forever to get up to 100,000 and then once you get up to 450,000 things go a lot faster as well because you can invest 15,000 in the 30 players (the max). On earnings days I usually make about 50,000 now.
  17. I agree that Hardy would be somewhat of a waste at 2nd considering his arm and if moved should be to 3rd, but Escobar would be even more of a waste at 2nd considering he is already considered gold glove caliber at SS and has a magnificent arm. What would you do with Gamel then? Would you look to trade Fielder or try to trade Gamel or move Gamel to the outfield. Just interested to see what people think.
  18. I'm not sure on the numbers, but how much would Hardy's range differ from Weeks?
  19. Personally, I would move Hardy to second and put Escobar at short. Then I would plug Gamel in at 3rd. I know it won't happen but the overall defense in the infield should improve. What the Brewers would lose in Gamel vs. Hall/Counsell, they would more than make up for in Hardy vs. Weeks. Escobar vs. Hardy at short should be a wash. Plus the infield would have a lot more offense to it.
  20. $100 gift cards to nike, stub hub, and fat head...steve nash autographed jerseys or basketball, derrek lee autographed jersey, $150 gift cards to fathead, $250 gift card to stub hub and nike.....the most expensive reward is a 50 inch plasma tv for 6 million
  21. Just curious as to whether or not anyone else has an account there. For those of you who don't know what it is, it is a sports stock market where you can buy and sell players based on fantasy production. You earn fake "PT Money" which you can redeem for rewards such as autographed merchandise, PS3, XBOX 360, and flat screen tvs. The best thing is it is free. I've been playing it for about a year and a half now (I'm up to $1,439,000 and you start with $25,000). I figured I would mention it since everyone around here seems to know a lot about sports and I was wondering if anybody had certain strategies that seemed to work out well.
  22. At least get Bill Hall out of the 2 spot. He could be the worst 2 hitter in the Majors.
