    my roady is dying....about 2-3 years old. only problem with xm is the customer service.

    Some things for 'come' 1. long lead line......start pulling him in and say, "come, come, good boy, come" as you reel him in. He'll get the picture....small tasty treats are a good reward. eventually you can make it work by just saying come. 2. clicker training was a really fast way for our dog to learn things. Work on all the commands and eventually he'll realize you lead his pack. 3. he's a pup so no matter how good you are, he's gonna take some time.

    Everyone needs to be a bit more appreciative of Barry and what he has done for our entertainment. In his chase to break a homerun record (legally or not) he has probably shaved 20 years off his life to hit a ball; a ball he already could hit better than almost anyone who has played the game. Not many people would nail their own coffin shut for our entertainment. So next time just say, "Thanks Barry."

    Wipe some dirt on it and wait it out as long as possible. That's my theory....observe it for a couple hours and if you can wait til the next day you are almost in the clear...keep waiting until it's not a problem. Of course, if it keeps getting worse you will still have spend that $200.

    I typed my speech up and made sure I knew it. If you plan to say something that takes a couple minutes, make sure you think it through and it's not a big drunk slurring of nonsense. Also, nothing wrong with saying a couple nice things, keeping it short, and ending with some toast. There are a lot of good Irish toasts to pick from - at least if you pick a proven toast to end it, you know you end with something that has been used successfully before.

    Politicians seem to be taking shots at UW all the time since I left the state, about 5 years ago. What's the deal? When did it become popular to bash UW? For anyone living in Wisconsin, the University is well-respected nationwide and something you should be proud of. Some of those silly studies turn up a nugget of knowledge and they almost always produce a grad student with critical thinking tools. By the way, I did my grad work out of state and my major project was in the area of $250K. As an offshoot, just a strange idea I had one day, I came up with another study that I wanted to try. Now, everyone told me it was a waste of time because everyone already knew the answers. Guess what, everyone was wrong and the silly study was accepted for publication. That silly study had a final cost of $0.00 b/c I talked the suppliers and lab folks into giving me the equipment and material for free. So if you ever think some academic exercise is a waste of time and resources, just let it slide because someone might learn something.

    all i can say is that I would not have the juevos to leave a pitcher in there to finish the 7th after he gave up 2 HRs and 4 runs. He would've been out of there after the second HR.

    Let's here the votes for who pitches 8 and 9 for the crew.... I say let Suppan start the 8th and if he can't go 9 we bring in one of the non-turnbow/cordero options. Not sure what Suppan's pitch count is at
