  1. Lineup per JSOnline 2B Craig Counsell SS J.J. Hardy 1B Prince Fielder LF Ryan Braun RF Corey Hart 3B Bill Hall CF Gabe Kapler DH Eric Munson C Jason Kendall LHP Manny Parra
  2. Poor Steve Hammond. 54.55 ERA. At least he got that one out, else his ERA would be infinite!
  3. Maybe Gwynn is taking a page from Ryan Braun's spring training 2006 book. If you commit an error, hit a home run.
  4. Lineups per JSOnline Brewers (2-3) 2B Rickie Weeks CF Mike Cameron SS J.J. Hardy LF Ryan Braun 3B Bill Hall 1B Brad Nelson C Vinny Rottino RF Tony Gwynn P Claudio Vargas Cubs (2-3) CF Felix Pie RF Kosuke Fukudome 1B Derrek Lee LF Tyler Colvin C Geovany Soto SS Mike Fontenot 3B Casey McGehee 2B Eric Patterson P Ryan Demptster
  5. Gross having a good spring thusfar. Reached base twice yesterday with a double and a walk. Blasts a homerun today.
  6. They answered it saying "good question", then briefly went over the candidates: - Mentioning Rotino's versatility - Mentioning Munson's left handed bat Then went on to say Yost will probably take the play who performs the best in the spring
  7. Not sure who wrote in, was vaguely paying attention until I heard BF.Net. All I heard was "(person x) writes in to tell us that the guys at BrewerFan.net are listening in. Good to have you guys aboard." Or something of the sort.
  8. BF.net just got a mention from Brian Anderson
  9. Along the same lines, Cameron was able to score easily yesterday from first off a Fielder double. Even if Hardy reaches a similar OBP to Cameron, (most projections I've seen don't have him at this) it's an obvious benefit to have the guy who can get from first to home or first to third more often batting in front of our XBH machines.
  10. Brewers lineup posted Per JSOnline 2B Rickie Weeks CF Mike Cameron 1B Prince Fielder LF Ryan Braun RF Corey Hart 3B Bill Hall SS J.J. Hardy DH Joe Dillon C Jason Kendall RHP Dave Bush Good to see Dillon actually getting some playing time today.
  11. LaPorta rips a double down the left field line. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. This really couldn't start much better. Hall showing some skills at 3b. Cameron singles then goes 1st-home on a Fielder hit. Braun follows suit by belting one deep. Brewers up 3-0
  13. Hall with the line drive catch and throw to 2nd for the DP!
  14. Gameday audio is working just fine for me. I paid for it last year, haven't yet this year. Think I get these first 2 days carried over from last year.
  15. AND THE HOOOOME OF THE BRAAAAAAAAAAVE!! PLAYBALL. :-)
  16. I got this for a while too. It seems that the CSV file that MLB.com has up has some invalid header info. If you uncapitalize all the headers and remove underscores then google understands it. ex: START_DATE, DESCRIPTION goes to Start Date, Description Also, you can edit the CSV file further to remove all the crap columns (eastern time zone info, reminder stuff) using excell or some csv editor (http://csved.sjfrancke.nl/index.html). I also removed all "buy tickets here" text. Let me know if you have trouble with this still and I could send you my final edited CSV if ya like.
  17. Not sure about outlook. But it added all the new records into my Google calendar without replacing the existing events. I would assume that Outlook would do the same but probably worth your time to backup outlook before doing so. Think that you just backup some files. http://email.about.com/cs/outlooktips/qt/et102102.htm
  18. This is excellent. Imported the schedule into google calendar as well as my Cell Phone's calendar. You don't need a crackberry to import this either. I uploaded it via bluetooth to my phone's calendar using BitPim. Thanks for this.
  19. Well I think you gotta like the opening series odds. 1) Sheets vs Lilly. Lilly is the opening day starter. The brewers are a heavy right hitting lineup, that has mashed lefties int he past. That should, hopefully, be enough with Sheets on the mound. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080118&content_id=2351060&vkey=news_chc&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc 2) Gallardo vs Zambrano. Gallardo should give us a chance to win vs Zambrano, especially if the emotions are running high for big Z as result of the opening series 3) Suppan/Villy vs Hill. Not sure who the crew will be throwing out there in game 3, but cubs will most likely thow Rich Hill (another lefty) out there, unless they're trying to avoid our RH bats (doubt this will happen int he opening series, especially with Carmeon still sitting) Top that with Fukudome still adjusting to MLB pitching and I think we have a very real shot of winning 2 of the 3. EDIT - formatting (firefox not work well with posting here??)
  20. hill at 70 pitches through 1.2
  21. Cubs lineup Soriano-LF Fontenot-SS Lee-1B Ramirez-3B Floyd-RF DeRosa-2B Bowen-C Pie-CF R. Hill-P
  22. All kidding aside, he's got a cannon for an arm, and a good glove. It's just the mechanics of making that throw accurate and not in the dugout that we got to work on. That's fixable.
  23. Looks like Braun got another error. Except this time he didn't follow it up with a HR in the next inning. Anyone know what happened with this error?
