  1. Aguilar is a good dude and great teammate and is absolutely trying to do too much to help an offense that has been struggling for a few weeks now. Wish Shaw could get hot to keep the pressure off of Aguilar to be the only power hitter in the middle of the lineup.
  2. He really does, and Braun is a better defender. It doesn't seem to be something Thames is going to all of a sudden fix tonight. Leaving Braun in seems obvious. For now, let's hope the good part of our lineup can get Braun home. Did the Brewers' broadcast pick up Thames' reaction after his RBI grounder? Dude was smashing his helmet and dropping F bombs in the dugout. Gotta think he's up there "on tilt" so to speak. Needs to calm down.
  3. Arcia should replace Miller right now. Saladino can be sent down when Villar gets back or when we acquire Dozier or equivalent.
  4. Miller's ready to get DFA'd. Saladino is getting close to needing to get out soon too. Hopefully we can get some MI reinforcements. Arcia 3/4 tonight down in AAA.
  5. Besides Jeffress, I see no pitching. I don't deny that the 2006 Top 10 was great. But that system wasn't deep whatsoever. As a reference, take a look: http://www.brewerfan.net/ViewPower50.do?power50Id=73 Woo boy that was a lot of grade C middle relief we had there. I remember how devastated everyone was losing Inman in the Linebrink trade.
  6. Just saw this on Twitter. O's are a whole 'nother level bad. The Orioles are going to lose 75 games before they win 30.
  7. DS lookin' pretty smart going for Chacin over Lynn, Cobb et al.
  8. Please, please, please get more than 1 run here. We used to be able to do it.
  9. On a scale of 1-10, how confident are we in Knebel tonight?
  10. Agree up to that last sentence. There's a reason why he was a career minor leaguer. Happy he got his one shining moment with that HR, but he is not the answer many people thought he was.
  11. Lucky Muncy missed that pitch. Please get out of this inning.
  12. Seems like our struggles really started with Shaw's injury. Not having him anchoring the middle of the lineup with Aguilar has really hurt.
