Which is why Gamel is on the 40 man roster and Lamb is, well not. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

rluzinski; while I would agree to your point as it applies to defense; at the plate may be a different situation. As a manager, would you really want a player who has only seen AAA pitching going against a ML closer in a PH situation?

Wow! A whole page of discussion about the Brewers bench, and not one rip on Counsell! What a difference a year makes.

Thank you, I will wear my prize proudly.

The AB by Counsell (walked in the tie run) just before Brauns HR. It gave me goosebumps at the time. I knew by tieing the game, they definetly had a shot at winning. On a team of wild free swingers, a walk is sometimes a great at bat. Ryans shot was sweet icing on the cake.

FWIW: I do not see this as a good thing for Milwaukee baseball in the future. This was purely 110% an owner meddling in baseball operations. I am convinced of several things; 1) This firing has been in the works for a while. Mark A. probably started looking at this option after the Boston massacre. 2) Doug M. was against it, and has fought long and hard for Ned.(see; Simmons,CC,Durham, etc) in an attempt to shore up players who for whatever reason, can't play without constant hand holding and praise. Prince took a nosedive right after his contract talks went nowhere, and Braun got his deal. Sheets had a bad spell after CC came in and made it look look Sheets wasn't a lock to be the #1 guy forever. Hall is still haveing a tempertantrum after being moved to OF last year. Corey is not playing well of late because he thought his deal would be sealed by now. 3)Doug made a call or trip to see Kremblas, said Yost is on the way out, and Mark A. is not going to move you up. Kremblas walks. 4) Mark A tell Doug, fire Yost or I fire both of you. Mark A thinks Simmons will stay. Simmons as we all now is loyal to Yost, and wants no part of managing, he walks. 5) To shorten this up; the Brewers will have a VERY tough time hireing a name manager, when it is known that you can be fired no matter what you do. ( Come on, its a business; they put 3M+ in the stands, which is unheard of in MILW.) The only way Mark A gets a top manager now is to give him a 5 year ironclad big money deal. To summarize; Mark A is looking at winning a pennant NOW, so he can maximize the value of his investment, to sell..( which means very possibly MOVE).

Belgium, Brussels (great hashbrown sandwiches at the Countryside Resturant), Chili (either the Town or the country is spellling it wrong), Eden (who knows? it might still be a place outside WI), Monico (again, one of them is spelling it wrong). Some of my favorite names of places in WI: LittleSuamico,Krakow,Zachow,Waubeka,Potosi, Pulcifer, Underhill. My all time favorite which no longer exists, it was gobbled up by Menomonee Falls, was Fussville, WI.

I knew you could do it Benny; Prince says its okay to shower up now.

Sheeter, when I watch you throw I feel it right here....my god, your pecs are like rocks. Now lets go get some coffee.

I think its a strong possiblity that more than a few of the 'voters', used this as a chance to yank a few guys chains. Just like taking surveys in High School, (B)Yes I have sex 4 or more times a week.

Article here http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=432587 I sure don't see it, and I see plenty of games. But it's pretty hard to argue when the voters are the other players. On the other hand a few of the other votes appear to be a bit tongue in cheek to put it mildly. As in : Best balls-and-strikes umpire 1. Tim McClelland, 22 votes That has to be a joke.

The guy is a class act. I saw him pitch many times, as a Yankee and as a Brewer. It's impossible not to be in awe when you watched him play.

I am so hacked right now I am beyond words.I am not a vent thread contributor, I think things are on the upward move for this team, I am a Yost supporter....BUT.. the facts are in... we need bullpen help, we don't need a starter,( well yes we do, but so does everyone) we need to close this type of game out.... there is no excuse, none , for this kind of one half inning to occur. In 8/9 year old little league, this stuff happens,in the majors this is beyond comprehension......(it took me several minutes to compose a post that would not get me not only banned from the site, but kicked off the inter web). I feel sorry for Yost.

I have my own business and don't have nearly enough work to do to justify the huge amount of $ I make. It's just awful. Okay, I've gotta ask; what line of work is this?
