  1. I still have hope for Mat. All I want for him is to get a legit shot to keep the job. Obviously following Prince is a huge obstacle for him and I hope fans are patient with him in a full time role. It's hard to ignore what he did in the minors so I hope he gets a fair chance and he sinks or swims. Not to mention we really need his low salary in this payroll.
  2. Can't really complain. We obviously couldn't afford him and he gets a good situation. Thanks for the memories Prince.
  3. This case is becoming more and more strange. It's just not cut and dry like most steroid cases are. Like someone said, I hope Braun is gathering some of the best biochemists and doctors money can buy because this is huge for him.
  4. The fact that this story was leaked before the appeal process took place really pisses me off. I just hope for Braun's sake and the Brewers, he can show something wrong with this test.
  5. I'd like to know how we're favorites yet we haven't even submitted an offer. I don't want Ramirez. I never liked him as a Cub and I certainly wouldn't like him for $10 million a year.
  6. I swear to God if this team has Yuni back starting at SS, I will be irate.
  7. I still think they push for Reyes. Prince is such a long shot I don't even feel like discussing it over and over again. Now that Mark and Doug tasted success, I don't expect them to sit back and hope the young guys pan out. I'm all for giving Gamel at shot at 1st and Green the job at 3rd, but they need to replace Prince's bat somewhat. Sure, Reyes is risky, but that's the only reason we could afford him in the first place. We have nothing in the majors at SS, nor do we have anything in the minors close to contributing. Signing a guy like Barmes and hoping for the best with your young guys is asking for trouble. So many things would have to go right for that team to win 90 games. Unfortunately, that's probably what happens, but I'll just dream we get Reyes.
  8. I've grown to really like Cory since he's been on. He's pretty much a change of pace guy when to compared to Uecker. I'll never go multiple innings without knowing the score with Provus. He seems to have developed a pretty good unison with Ueck too.
  9. If there's been a luckier team in the history of sports, I'd like to know who they were.
  10. Well, Shaun, it's up to you. Pitch a good game and there's a good chance you win. Pitch poorly and ..... Do it for yourselves gentlemen.
  11. Yeah, we got to Garcia in game 1, but he's a good pitcher and he's pretty good at Busch. I don't feel particularly good about this game with Greinke as he's been getting lucky with the run support lately. Make it yours, Mr. Greinke.
  12. The turning point in Prince's at-bat? The first pitch after being down 0-2, the high fastball. I thought for sure he was going to swing at that.
  13. It was a safety squeeze, Wolf just hit it too hard and towards the pitcher for Hairston to scoreI would have let him swing away. There were in on the corners anyway.
  14. There's a better chance Morgan gets out there than Wolf hitting into a double play. Poor decision.
  15. Damnit. LOL at the announcer saying he should have run. Oh my. George Kottaras vs Lefty. Make it happen George.
  16. Wolf isn't pitching bad. I'll give him that. On the other hand, who is this team playing and what the hell have they done with the 2011 Milwaukee Brewers?
