  1. I'd be interested to hear what other people brought home with them as well. I was pretty happy with what I found. Considering I have only seriously been collecting for a little over a year, I'm still working on getting a few of the big HOFers for baseball. In all, this is what I came home with... -Prince Fielder Authentic 2007 All-Star game jersey -Willie Mays baseball (PSA/Say Hey hologram) -Stan Musial baseball (PSA) -Matt LaPorta baseball (PSA) -Fergie Jenkins baseball (I caught him on Saturday signing at his booth for a $20 donation to his juvenile diabetes foundation, I figured it was for a good cause) :o) -Dan Marino sign 24x40 photo (Marino Hologram) -Bo Jackson bat (thanks to Pedro) -CC Sabathia Brewers unsigned 8x10 Overall I was pretty happy. The only regret that I had was that I didn't jump on getting a Jay Bruce PSA baseball for $30, those were gone by the time I went back. As everyone said previously, there's lots of interesting things to look at there. I'm always tempted to get a Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, or Sandy Koufax, but luckily, that's not much of a reality for me to pull the trigger. Always nice to stare at though. :o) **Note to anyone going in the future: If you can gamble/hold off until the last day, a lot of the dealers significantly reduce their prices. The Marino picture I got was $100 on Saturday, and Sunday I was able to snag it up for $75. I saw a Steiner authenticated Griffey Jr ball that was $150 on Saturday and marked down to $100 on Sunday. But if it's something at a good price that you really want, get it early.
  2. So I have a few extra autographed baseballs that I'd possibly like to trade to make my collection a little bit better. Let me begin this by saying that I pride myself on collecting items either in person or from a reputable source (i.e. PSA/DNA, UDA, Legends of the Field, MLB). So I know that my signatures are legit and would put them up against any PSA testing. I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for, possibly a Braun ball, Spahn ball, or any other interesting bats, balls, or other items. Here's what I have available, if you have any interest in any of these, let me know. I'm mainly looking for offers for other autographed items (not necessarily baseballs) or authentic jerseys. Also, I'm not interested in selling any of these. As a collector, I really would only like to trade for some other items that I don't have. Extras I have: Robin Yount SS Ball (Got signed at 82 reunion last year at MP) 2 Prince Fielders SS (1 signed at MP at Brewers on Deck, 1 from Legends of the Field) Bill Hall SS (from Jeff's) Dan Haren SS (Mikita Sports)
  3. Does anyone know where to find the best price for an Authentic Braun Jersey? If on ebay, what seller(s). I'm looking for a Navy Blue or Retro Braun jersey with the MLB logo on the back and a team logo on the sleeve as well as the 2 toned letters/numbers. I would buy something VERY close to the authentic ones if it were a good price. It looks like the ones I can find that I know are real are around $159 at the cheapest.
  4. I just feel that I needed to add that I am going to all of the Brewers/Cubs games this year because it disgusts me how many Cubs fans come to the game, even when the Brewers aren't playing the Cubs. I went to CC's first start a few weeks ago and at the top of our section there were 10 people dressed up in cubs gear. Are you serious?!? I went with my brother to opening day at Wrigley this year. It was my first time at Wrigley and honestly, I enjoyed that game more than most. We got caught in a rain delay and ended up talking to a few Cubs fans here and there. Although we were all hardcore fans for our team, we respected the fact that we were baseball fans above all. We cheered for our teams, but kept it at that... no personal attacks or stupid behavior. Last night I was completely disgusted by one Cubs fan sitting directly in front of me. He was this trashy, smelly, ghetto, drunk guy that couldn't think of anything better to say than "CC, go get another cheeseburger" He was so obnoxious to the point that the people he was with (one Brewers fan and 2 Cubs fans) apologized and took him out of the game because they were so embarrassed. It's fans like this (for both teams) that can ruin these games for fans. But it's also those fans who motivate me to make sure that I'm at every one of those games to cheer as hard as I can for the Brewers. The Cubs have failed time and time again for the last 100 years, it just time for the Brewers to come through and finish what the Cubs can't. :o)
  5. Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs. Section 420 as part of my 20 game pack. Pretty much makes the entire 20 game pack worth it since I can make it to all the Brewers/Cubs games. Don't forget to be as loud and roudy as possible when singing "Root, Root, Root for the BREWERS!" during the 7th inning stretch!
  6. Yeah the ball for the Gamel signing is a OML ball. THe $22.50 is only if you are a signingshotline.com member. Otherwise it's $25 I think... yeah I know, big difference. I'd call asap if you're going to do it though. I think the signing is today or something.
  7. Pedro I just sent you a message.
  8. Mat Gamel is doing a private signing found on signingshotline.com. Here's the info... 9. Any interest in a Hart ball? Is the Laporta authenticated by anyone?
  10. I'd be interested in the Matt Laporta. How much are you looking to get for it?
  11. Does anyone have any thoughts on where you can find decently priced Brewers gear? Not just the typical shirt from Kohls, but some of the cooler retro logo and nicer looking clothes. The stadium has some cool stuff, but way overpriced. And I looked online, but I haven't really been able to find much outside of shop.mlb.com. Some specific things I'm looking for are: 70's style logo hat (fitted) Glove logo hooded sweatshirts
  12. I'll take the 4 tickets for Wednesday's game. I'll send you a PM to figure out the details.
  13. Hey guys, I just bought these tickets and found out that I can't go. These are probably the best seats I've ever seen for a game at Wrigley, but they make you pay for it. Face value they are $300 a piece. Really just trying to get my money back. Take a look if you're interested. eBay
  14. Anyone have an extra Braves nesting doll set? How much would you want for it?
  15. It's the pinstriped SGA that was given away on July 21st.
  16. I have an autographed Gorman Thomas bobblehead that I just got signed on Monday. Would anyone be interested in trading for a retro Bill Hall bobble? Any other interesting trade offers will be accepted. I guarentee this autograph since I personally was there to get it signed! Let me know.
  17. How much are you looking to get for one? I need 2 of them. Let me know.
  18. I have an extra Thomas if you still have the Fielder or Cooper.
