  1. Was he looking into Houston's dugout? They played "Wild Thing" for Turnbow, but I'm not sure if that's his "official" music now.
  2. The Bottom of the first started with "Oh Fortuna," which should have been someone's entrance music (especially a closer).
  3. Last night, I felt bad for Turnbow. That said, the most disappointing thing for me wasn't the booing, it was more that no one seemed excited to be there. It was my first time seeing the Brewers live since the last game of the season last year, and I was excited, but people were hardly even cheering when the players were announced.
  4. My theory... The Brewers are trying to raise Gwynn's value so they can trade him for prospects when Cameron returns.
  5. Dillon. Wouldn't adding Choate go against the 12 man pitching staff plan? Judging from what I've read, the only person Dillon was competing with at this point was Nunez and the JSonline stories have already said Nunez will be in Nashville.
  6. Sunday is also Admirals/Brewers hat night.
  7. I'll be at the Brewers game, but if I wasn't at that I would probably have went to the Bucks game. The Kareem bobbles are pretty sweet.
  8. IIRC, SI picked the Brewers to be third (or worse) last year as well.
  9. Thatcher seems to be doing well.
  10. It would be worth doing if only to see the reactions from Cubs fans (who seem to already think Roberts is a Cub).*
  11. I really like it as it helps me keep track of blogs I might otherwise not follow. The downside is I spend so much time keeping up on my reader that I get less done.
  12. I stepped out for a few minutes, and when I came back the Brewers tied it up... What happened?
  13. I'm pretty sure that Dillon will make the 25 out of spring training if the Brewers don't carry 13 pitchers, but does the fact that he's a utility infielder make him a good bet to stay after Cameron's return? After all, with only Counsell to cover the infield (unless Rottino is the backup catcher), the Brewers would be limited if anyone goes down during the middle of a game, or if they needed a pinch hitter for a position player.
  14. I could be wrong, but I think one of the runners Narveson inherited from Cappie scored.
  15. I'm convinced that Matt Wise has brought the curse of weird injuries to the Mets.
  16. I'm looking to trade last years Rickie Weeks Bobblehead for a Milwaukee Bucks Bobblehead (ideally Bogut).
  17. What was the point of having Shouse throw two innings? Are they looking at him as a middle reliever instead of a LOOG-Y?
  18. I'm willing to bet that Yost was getting coffee when Dillon made that catch.
  19. Kapler tries to pull a Dillon, but fails.
  20. Braun has been scratched, still with a tendon problem.
  21. Counsell has changed his stance a bit, I'm not sure if that's what is doing it though.
  22. I thought they had discussed it on one of the MLB.com broadcasts as well. Maybe they're just rehashing the argument for television people.
  23. Vargas is sooooo slow, he hasn't even been able to get off the first pitch yet.
  24. My starters are the same, but I'd keep Stetter in the minors for now, and take Bush or Cappy for long relief.
