I checked out the local 24 hour Walmart on my way home from work to see if I could get an idea of their inventory and how early I would need to arrive to grab a console... The clerk I talked to was surprisingly candid. They only had 20 in stock. Despite being open 24x7, campers would still have to wait outside. One lonely camper was already sitting in a chair playing his DS. Things seem a bit more grim than I had hoped.

As you can see from the results, the inaugural season of Brewerfan.net Fantasy Baseball was a real nail biter. Despite my 13th place finish, I was sure that I was in it until the second week. I don't know if I can show up this weekend, but I'll try. I don't know how it is used now, but many years ago I used to play weekend games on that field as a cub scout. It would probably be a good idea to check the field availability.

Finally got a chance to fix the spelling. The evils of late night cut and paste jobs. It?s really easy ff anyone really wants me to change their position. There are space considerations, but I can change it to almost anything you wish. Jimbo, do you still have the full resolution pictures of files of the pictures on the team website? If you do I may have a few requests.

Sorry about that Houlie. I just had bad luck when I was taking pictures of you. If the shot was in focus, your arm was covering your face. If I had a clear shot, their was motion blur. The picture of you that I used was plucked from a shot I took with about 7 guys walking off of the field.

I had envisioned handing these out as sets during the final game, but I decided just to post them when I realized that I did not have decent pictures of everyone. Look on the bright side. Yost actually realized that he can pinch run for Miller late in games! I don't know why that is possible with Rivera as a replacement and not Moeller, but it's a positive step in Nedley's progress. EDIT: I knew I should not have slurped down at Kool-Aid.

Ennder, I'm not really sure how to handle your situation yet. I don't know if you should be able to pick your replacement or if the next person in that league should just automatically move up when you relinquish your spot. Or since their are no rules about this situation, if I should just send you the invite and you just have the right to accept or decline. I need to think about it a bit more.

I don?t think I was advocating gradual replacements as much as blending the order of replacements. Some of the rosters I had seen in the past had our first string caliber players in for half of the game and then putting in all the second string at once. It did not think that the best way to hold a lead or mount a comeback. If we were going to do one giant switch near the halfway point, I thought it might be a good idea to mix around the talent to maintain some consistency on the field. I don?t know what the best mixture is and I?m a horrible judge of talent; it was just something I thought could have an adverse impact on the game and could be discussed.

I will be at the park in Hales Corners at 11 tomorrow with 3 balls and a bat.

I have the 3 balls that I bought for last week's practice.

I should be available Saturday morning. So is it Saturday at 11 AM in Hales Corners with the candle stick?
