Let me know what else you might take for one please.

    - In a somewhat unusual move, Ned Yost reported that the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is close to firing long-time Brewers reporter Tom Haudricourt. Yost characterized the firing as "imminent," but wouldn't reveal his source, citing "persons close to the paper." When asked how the move may affect him, Yost responded that he was too busy drinking coffee to read the news and/or manage a baseball team. John Briggs 12 is expected to step in to replace Haudricourt.

With Ned seemingly safe, Brewer Nation breathes a sigh of relief. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

The sheen has really worn off Mike Maddux, hasn't it?

They definitely did have the unfair advantage of having way more talent than us. Many teams seem to have this, and as a fan, I don't like it.

Thanks DJ43 for making me laugh. Feel like I could live in the vent thread. Go Brewers. P.S. Where's Pedro? I need someone to help me make sense of the madness!

Maybe if we're in last for a bit Ned will finally be tossed to the curb where he belongs.

They're raving about Dice-K on the post-game. He's good, but c'mon. If that guys a Brewer he has a .500 record. The last time I saw him pitch he walked like 8 guys in five innings. And guess what? He got the win.

I remember those years CNY,but I didn't think this years team would be so brutal. They look awfully mediocre. I can hardly fathom following them closely for the rest of the year. So far it has been torture.

Braun = My only reason to follow these Brewers right now. That was a rocket

How many turds will the Brewers drop on national tv this season? Maybe ESPN will finally give us the respect we deserve.

Well at least we have Dave Bush in the nightcap...Oh wait...

This team is so incredibly disappointing.

I don't think it's that out of line. Maybe you should take a peek at our pitching staff. If we lose Sheets as we have each of the past few seasons, we may be looking at giving Houston, the Pirates and Reds a run for their money.

These Brewers remind me a bit of the Bucks. Just on the wrong side of mediocrity. I hope our season doesn't become as unbearable to watch as theirs.

I think I'm going to become a Royals fan after this game.

I'd like to know when Ned will take accountability for the team's poor play. It's always someone else's fault. (especially the press and the fans that are to dumb to understand the brilliant moves he makes) What does he have to be cocky about? Last year's implosion? (which he spear-headed with the dumb StL beanball fiasco) Obviously there are worse managers, but he hasn't produced, nor has he given us reason to think that better times are just over the horizon. If this team is still sub .500 June 1, I vote we shoot him out of a cannon.

Boy, isn't it torture following this team lately. Even the wins are brutal for me.
