  1. I got mine today! We are closer to our normal seats than we were in 2011. Yay!
  2. I wouldn't say 100% but I believe they are stand alone.
  3. Yes the seats are removed. More of a field side bar area look now. At the exhibition game they had all the old chairs for sale. Autographed I think by the whole team for the low low price of $2500 each.
  4. Thanks. We just left the loaded slate after brunch and crazy loaded bloody's. We'll check that our next.
  5. We are downtown mke this morning after bucks\badgers games last night. Any recommendations whet to watch the brewers game today? I never take a Sunday off from the farm to have the chance.
  6. You said you have the taxes done by professionals. Have you spoken to them about the program they like? We use a program nobody's ever heard of @ our farm because it's what our accountant likes.
  7. we considered both a wedding there and a 300 club reception. Or one or the other, but the options were just too pricey for us. Representatives from brewers/miller park are at most major wedding shows pushing packages. The destination wedding may be too expensive but the sausages showing up at our reception is a definite possibility pending next years home/away schedule.
  8. We sold our tickets to game 2. Tonight we make our return to sec 343. Every game I have sat there we have won. Happy the start time is changed to 7. Now I can do afternoon chores before heading to the park.
  9. Since no one has weighed in from preferred parking, here is my tale. We were parked in the preferred lot next to the sausage haus, right by the stairs that go up to the bridge. The line was long to get out and our group of 8 decided to hang out and wait for the line to go down. The lot was roughly 5% occupied but the line was still very long when a bike guy rolled up and politely asked us to get going. We asked him if the bathrooms in the haus were still open and he said yes. we told him we would use them and head out. He said thanks. As we were standing near the haus waiting for everybody to wrap up their duties, several of us noticed a suv police vehicle parked next to a tailgate with his lights on. It doesn't matter but it was an escalade, one of those "we seized this from a drug dealer rigs" . The officer was outside the vehicle and in a heated argument with the tailgaters. One of the tailgaters with a clear head seperated his buddies and the officer and he got back in the escalade. The officer then rolled around the lot chirping his siren and barking on his P.A. that everyone had to leave. At this point we were all walking back to our cars. Dude pulls INTO our path, facing us with the escalade, stops, hits his siren and barks over his loud speaker "you need to leave the lot NOW!" then he pulled out of our way. Just as we got to our cars we saw him literally drive into the middle of a baggo game, complete with a bag bouncing off his hood. We were climbing in our cars at that point so I didn't see the outcome of that situation. Once in our cars we joined the line, and yes there was still a line under the bridge to get out. We also chose to go South on Miller Parkway away from the stadium because you could see there was traffic problems going north to the freeway on miller parkway. Moral of the story; bike guy was helpful and polite. Escalade officer was having a bad day and choosing to take a different approach.
  10. There are TV cameras in or around sec. 330 in the club and I believe rows 3 and 4 are obstructed view. Also just as a PSA to people not normally sitting on the club level, avoid row 2 like the plague. Row 1 people have to sit up and forward to see over the stupid ribbon board and the row 2 people have a hard time seeing over them and if you try to look between them all you get is a view of the back of the ribbon board.
  11. 2 things. Corey had that get-up packed before this was a plan, and really? Y'all wanna wear sweep suits? Not good buddy.
  12. I sold mine in 333 for $37 in 2 hours today on stubhub. Minus $11 commission but they are sold. Good luck.
  13. Very near to aloft is http://ajbombers.com/ You could easy walk there from your hotel, just ask front desk directions. I ate there for lunch the last time I stayed downtown and its real good burgers\bar food. The stuff everybody else listed is great. There is loads of great stuff to do listed in this thread, hope you enjoy your stay.
  14. I was hoping you'd have posted about that. I have had little time to hear the crew this spring but I caught these innings, and thought it was Great. I've had a soft spot for all the McGhee's since seeing a news piece on Mack two years ago(there was a thread about it but a quick search and I don't see it). And I was at the park the day Mack threw out the first pitch and his dad hit a game winning home run. Really cool to hear he is doing well and "a clubhouse leader".
  15. I prefer the ending of the original version. This was sposed to be truer to the novel i guess. The original dialog is also funnier. They did much better with this version than I expected but the original is better. The one true upgrade is Damon as LaBeffe. He is a much better character than Glen Campbell was. Matt may have been a bit too old for the part though. It is meant to be played by a late teen early twenties actor. Then the stealing a kiss line is much less creepy. Overall it was really good and all 4 people that went with me enjoyed it.
  16. The ex-girl friend (with my help) won the road runner trivia contest at miller park last year. Two years ago I won a mountain bike at the fan appreciation game. The best part about that bike was it was already assembled so I (6,2 280lbs)(mildly drunk) rode that sucker right on down the field level concourse, out of the RF corner and across the bridge to the car. Worst park was we were in a Buick Park Avenue loaded with tailgating supplies. Had to get creative with some things to haul that baby home. I have also won several different prizes related to hunting and the outdoors at various fund-raiser dinners hosted by hunting clubs and wildlife organizations. The best of which was a Thompson Center Encore muzzle loader. Sold it for $800.
  17. I went tonight. Almost didn't due to being in a US Cellular store in Burlington at 6:50. Besides the good fun game to watch, the suspense of will he or won't he get the 9th was great. I wouldn't compare it to 3000 for robin as dan o'donnell on am 620 did, but it was great and I had goosebumps. Seeing the guys in the 'pen banging on the top of the wall and jumping up and down with every strike/out tells you how much it meant to them, Trevor, and the team. Still and all 600 was great, and I'm really happy I was there to see it.
  18. Is it a certain time of day? Like the sun could be hitting the sensors near the floor funny.
  19. Ok...now I feel old.You should feel young. Al is old and also un-hip and I'm sure he would readily and proudly admit that.
  20. The one annoying me is the Rudy Giuliani one for his motivational speech at the Bradley Center. Every 10 minutes...I swear.I don't think you understand. It's not $19 for you, it's $19 for your entire office!!
  21. Probably the last time you will ever hear "Vladimir Guerrero like" to describe S-key. Then J-Luc with a double. Fun to watch these guys .
  22. A few months ago my Dad, now 61yrs, relapsed. This time with tumors aggressively attacking his pelvis and upper legs. Chemo and radiation knocked the tumors down. The relapse ended his time in the study he had been enrolled in, and his doctor suggested bone marrow transplant. His sister did not match and us kid can't match because of being half our mom. A perfect match was located on a registry in Europe. The cells were harvested yesterday, flown to Madison and transplanted into my Dad around noon today. The Docs and Nurses call today his new birthday. They even celebrated with cake and ice cream before the transplant. The actual transplant is basically just an IV bag with the cells in it. He reported to me over the phone that it was a very strange sensation, and his entire body was churning like an upset stomach only it was through out his entire body. The next month will tell if the transplant takes and then around 6 months they will start to wean him off the anti-rejection drugs. If you get the chance to get on a bone marrow registry, please do so. Somebody in Europe did it and it may be literally saving my Dad's life right now. I hope no news is good news on the squirelmaster front. Stewart
