  1. My long sleeve Milwaukee skyline shirt is currently shirt number 1 in my large arsenal of brewers related t's. It's super and gets lots of comments.
  2. Just two unimportant notes from the game. 1 They now put up a "It's coffey time" graphic(sort of resembles the starbucks logo" on the scoreboard. The middle of this graphic is a timer that clocks his sprint in from the bullpen. 14.41 tonight. They crowd went wild. 2 Hell's Bells was great. They have some nice graphics for this too. Enough people were sreaming "Hell's Bells" along with the music that you could hear it above the sound system. They were also ringing the bell for every out. Hoff topped out at 86 on the in house gun. Be nice too see him run it up there a little higher than that. 73-74 on the change. Still in all; a great game. Lots of fun.
  3. Heaven City in Mukwanago has the old National Liquor Bar sign set up in their parking lot. It's a neon bottle pouring into a shot glass.
  4. My brother and I will be in the dew deck so my 2 in 432 are available. Face is $14 per. You own them for $20 total. I can meet you Sat night or outside the game on Sunday.
  5. Also bad to endorse the slap chop (my fav. part is "fettucini, linguini, martini, bikini") during this little mess. on edit I miss read your post. You and I refer to the same mess. My not so random thought is that sometimes I read too fast and see what I want not what is typed.

  7. I like it even more now that it's in hd on time warner CH 583 at my house near milwaukee
  8. I have not. Opening day plus. I'm only 15 mins from the park. Got my meta. club passes almost a week ago.
  9. Congrats dude! My dad booked a cruise from his hospital bed in March last year. Today he and my mom on in tahiti on the trip. He spent all summer in and out of uw madison with this as their goal. Last I heard they were scuba diving. How awesome is that? Hope those scans keep coming up clean! Stew
  10. Riske doesn't sound too sharp. First pitch of the spring and it's hit out. And the next 2 guys sound like they got pretty good wood too. Shake off that rust David, we need you this year.
  11. I went into that with very low expectations. I laughed much more than I thought I would. The reaction when he drops the big check is priceless.
  12. Go up the club level escalator by fridays, show your meta. passes to get on. This is the only escalator you can use. The stairs near Fridays will also work, I think. The other club escalator or the stairs by home plate will not get you there without club level tickets.
  13. I really want the Batting Stance Guy on mlb network to end. Maybe not the BSG to which you refer, but seriously this guy's got to go away.
  14. I bought it for my psp. I've only got one game in the books, but so far I'm ok with it. I won in veteran mode. I haven't had a baseball game in a while so it's a little challenging to get used to the tools. Graphics are just alright. I like the guess the pitch when batting. Hell's Bells tolled when I brought Hoffman in for the save. All in all I think it will be worth some time.
  15. As undrafted and my Dad says: "If it was easy everybody would be doing it" It takes an incredible amount of work to make anything go that fast in that short of a distance.
  16. I believe that a large number of nhra fans are drag racers themselves. There are so many local drag strips and god forbid street racers. To them that is the pinnacle of their chosen sport. Cool thing about drag racing is you can compete with almost nothing. Bracket racing handicaps the starts, so a street car can beat a faster race-only car. It gives the underdog hope. These guys then build a better car and a better car.... May-be it's too obvious but Pinks, All Out gives a inside look at these local weekend warriors. It's easy to see how they get hooked. I myself grew up at and later raced at Hales Corners Speedway, and I am still a big circle track fan. Besides the grass roots appeal, there is the raw awesome power. Going from 0 to over 300 mph in a quarter mile is really wild.
  17. On the bright side; getting to see that hovercraft ought to be pretty sweet.
  18. I did a couple of pheasants this weekend. These birds are small and I need to work up an apparatus that would better fit their form. My new setup will need a smaller opening and longer neck. I used a centennial rub from penzey's. Rubbed the birds and put a bunch in the beer. They were good, but the beer was a wasted effort because of my poor seal.
  19. one I like not yet mentioned: pitchleague Plus I always enjoy 1992casey and his quote guideline reminders. My personal fav avatar, besides my own of course, was bta's cigar weilding dude hanging out the side of that car-limo. That was classic. Probably even better if I knew the back story.
  20. It's been a long winter. This news brought a smile to my face. Yikes. Also welcome to page 20 everybody.
  21. I see you as 1997 and this will be 1998 http://i40.tinypic.com/2e21a9k.jpg
  22. this is post 1996 for me. Must not count posts made by posters on "ignore"? I'm sure Jamie will be excited to hear when I hit page 21. It will be post 2001 on my counter. Milk is still $2.59-3.09, depending on brand, here in Arizona. DARN CALIFORNIA AND UTAH COWS!! Fluid milk is a perishable product and can only be stored a short time. So they only bottle what they need and are slow to correct the price. Cheese, butter, and other milk products can go into cold storage. When inventories start to build price drops. Fluid consumption is down and so is cheese consumption; resulting cold storage stocks soaring and milk price plummeting. You will soon see a lot of pizza places advertising pizzas with extra cheese. Also might see deals like buy a meal get free ice cream. Any processed dairy product is going to be wicked cheap.
  23. At today's Extremely low milk prices, they are still making money at 1.29. Go out and buy dairy. Anything that could go into cold storage should be Cheap. My post could also be in the "Whats bugging you thread" I suppose.
