  1. Anyone feel Nelson Cruz will be in AAA by mid July? Right now there's nowhere to put him, but that might not be the case in a few months with injury/trades.
  2. Nice to see Fielder, Nelson, and Hart with multi hit games (Prince has 3). Rick Helling = not good.
  3. Brutal line for Weeks. eek.
  4. End, that is your best post yet. LOL
  5. It's April 19th - not July 19th. I'm not giving up on this team. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I can handle the disappointment. Was I PO'd today? Yeah, but I'm not going to kick my dog over it and I'm certainly not going to 'quit' rooting for the Brewers. Bring on Houston, I say.
  6. Uh, there's 149 games left in the season. That 12 years and counting is just a little bit premature. The Dodgers do have the best record in baseball - it's not like the Brewers are playing the Sisters of the Poor.
  7. Or the Gods just really like the Dodgers. They are 10-2 after all.
  8. Sarfat'es K:BB is now 24:3
  9. Sarfate with a GREAT outing. I really hope he can keep up this kind of control. Man the top three at HV could really be special.
  10. Hey! Hardy with his first hit since the Pittsburgh series.....I think. EDIT: Actually he had a hit in the first game of the Cubs series. So that's his first since April 8th.
  11. By the way, Eveland's career K:BB ratio in the minors is now 185:38
  12. I wasn't suggesting they remove him from the Catcher role (personally I think a full season is warranted unless he's a complete disaster in July), but I am curious why they put him there as opposed to third base. Just wondering what the rationale was.
  13. http://216.182.195.20/visports/images/book/tark.jpg Brian????
  14. Vinny Rotino with another pass ball. How long a leash do they give him? And why C over 3B?
  15. Eveland seems to be dealing. 4k's, no walks, 2 hits, through 3 innings.
  16. I'm going to go out on a big limb and predict Helms actually makes contact.
  17. RyDogg, Not sure if Carlos is pressing or what, but he was definitely swinging for the fences in the ninth on Sunday.
  18. I was at the game as well. A few issues: Note to Nedly: That guy playing CF is not the same guy as last year. Don't put up the steal sign every time he reaches first. Note to Chad Moeller: Think about taking a strike when you're down three runs in the eighth. Note to Jenkins: Feel free to advance to third when the 2nd baseman retrieves a base hit to right field (actually, not sure if he missed the sign or what, but that cost the Brewers a run later on in that inning)
  19. I predict Ben Sheets gets more than one standing ovation.
  20. That toast guy is just.........bizarre.
  21. Brainerd's thick Muhwaukee accent really doesn't translate to TV very well.
  22. Seems like Hernan was a little upset at going 0-5 for the first time.
  23. bork, did you do the math on that yourself or did you find it somewhere? Reason I ask is that I was trying to find bullpen splits on the web and was unsuccessful.
  24. I'm knocking on wood as I type this, but can we give an early season shout out to the pen? Outside of Phelps one crappy outing, they've been more than adequate.
