    Yost was an okay player in the NWL, and that's not saying a lot.

    I agree madtown. In fact, I think every game this season is critical for the fragile morale of this team, moreso than ever. Yes, I know they have "winning personalities", but they are manically winning personalities and will be be manically depressive once they drop a few significant games in a row, no matter how early it is. I have this feeling that if or if Wes doesn't get hit hard tonight will be an indicator of the remainder of this season.

    By the same logic... If Ben has been an average pitcher based on good and bad outings, than having a bad outing and outstanding outing should account for slightly better than average. I'll take it. Yesterday was the best da of Ben's career, quit raining on the parade.

    I went today and had a great view in 110. Let's just say my chin is still planted firmly in my chest. Ben was masterful! The gun might have been "fast", but 1 pitch today read 100 on the board. That's 97 on a "slow" gun.

    Last week I saw someone tossing around the idea that EY doesn't start on Thursday's (day games after night games) anymore. Guess what, he started. I'm growing tired of seeing him. In fact, the mere site of him (and Clayton) is beginning to make me ill. What do you suppose is going through Bill Hall's head right now? What message are they sending him? Atleast send him back down to Indy and get some work in so you don't COMPLETELY destroy his confidence.
