Clancy!! You just ruined him!! You know how that phrase turns things the opposite way!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Could have brought in Brooks and that would have worked. I think I would have even wanted Nance in there. Viz is just throwing his meatballs up there, and getting hammered. There is that saying about going to the well once to often,,, Anyways I would have rather had him bring in Kolb early. All it was for was one extra out. Good closers can do that and Kolb can do it. Little goof there Nedster!!

Last time the Brewers won five straight series was back in 1992 when Molly was still here.

Breaks an ankle and still the MVP!! Wow!! Can't wait to see what happens when we have him for a full season.

Massbrew, did you ever find out what the severe discomfort in JM's shoulder was? Man can this guy get even one break!! One baby step forward and ten leaps back. He has to be mentally drained!!

Maybe Delmon WANTS to come to the Brewers, so unless TB comes up with the cash the Brewers can draft him next year!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

It is just amazing that someone could have that deadly of a pickoff move. I think I would really like to see that one time because it just has to be that deceptive to where you just can't pick it up. Glad he is on our side.

Thanks Toby!! I forgot about him.

I think that would make him the tallest pitcher ever if he does eventually make the majors with some team. Lots of room to fill and velocity to gain.

One more thing about the espn people... I just realized how much I don't like Ravech. The "Richard Sexson" thing just has to stop!!
  11. BrewDude
Hey Igor!! You forgot the best hitting catcher that we got this side of Capt. Lou, and that is John Vandenberg!! Can't believe you forgot the hometown boy!!
  12. BrewDude
We can't help the ESPN guys with that. There the ones signing these loopy guys that nobody cares for.

It just amazes me that these kids just can't keep clean. I mean for cry'n out loud these guys are going to be millionaires or already are yet stupidity must just follow when you become high profile. Thank God for us not drafting Milledge when we were all about him earlier in the year. Big sigh of relief for all of us. Just dumb, dumb, dumb!!

Thank goodness that this is finally getting done. I was just starting to sweat a little about Weeks not being able to play this year. Glad they all pounded it out and are getting it done.

C'mon Brian!! Give the general a little credit. We said he needed a big game, and he must have read what we said. Good to see!!

Boy I gotta thank the scouting department on the drafting of Jeff. They obviously see something that we are seeing now in this performances. It is amazing how we have been doing with our late round picks. I just hope it continues, but wow is he doing great right now.

Let him get a couple more starts at AAA then bring him up. It will only attract excitement and basically put all the rest of the staff on notice with the exception of Sheets and Franklin. Maybe we could get a little more production out of them. Kolb for closer now!!
  18. BrewDude
He is still growing!! He is just a kid yet, and he is only going to get stronger. I would love JJ to be another Cal Ripken in the making except that he has better speed.
  19. BrewDude
Unfortunately Igor he has been made into a utility player ala Florian V. I don't see him getting too much time there anymore. Who knows hopefully they will promote Vandenberg to HD and let him take the bulk of the catching. At least one of them should be bumped Pedro or Vandy. Then Lou can be brought up to Beloit.
  20. BrewDude
Plain and simple-- Kolb for closer!! Kolb for closer now!!!

Just curious about the Nick Carter pitching appearance. Wasn't he a pretty decent pitcher out of high school? If so, is this why they brought him out to pitch to see if he has any other usefulness besides the lack of offense that he brings as an outfielder?
  22. BrewDude
I just love reading positive reviews like that one from Baseball America!! Just keeps showing how far we have come.
  23. BrewDude
All I have to say is talk about going from bad to worse!!!
  24. BrewDude
Holy moves O' Masseus Brewus!! Sorry a little Caesar there. That is crazy about the moves, but I guess when you ask you shall receive. What about the desert though? Who is moving from Beloit or even Helena up there?
  25. BrewDude
Also what in the name of all that is holy does Osik pinch-hit in that situation!!?!!
