  1. Wow! Has Greg Moreira turned the corner or what? He has looked really good in all his starts. Maybe he is over the injury bug that has plagued him for the last couple of years, otherwise it is that fresh mountain air!!
  2. How about that Noochie of the minor leagues!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif Just keeps that trade for Sanchez looking better and better. Nice to be able to get a talent like that for someone that is a knob!!
  3. Toby must feel like a proud papa the way Carlos has been pitching. Maybe he was right that Los' should have been in Beloit the whole time already. Good case for it now. Also that Whitney kid is looking like a pretty smart sign for low cash.
  4. Yep definately remember him, but anyways love to see Ford pitch like he is out there. I'd love to see him get the win, but we will see that depending on his pitch count.
  5. Oh where could he be? Wasting his time holding out when he could be helping the baby Bs!! Anyone heard anything yet?
  6. All I can say is Holy Butt Kick'n Batman!!!
  7. GO Vandy!! Go figure it is the hometown boy from a small school.
  8. I think as far as the baby brewers are concerned get that Fausto Mejia in the lineup a little more. He is contributing just about every opportunity that he has been given. I think a little more playing time is warranted. The guy just has obvious hitting skills. Just want to see deserving guys get a shot.
  9. Prior K's 16!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!! Where is the batting eye!!
  10. Truly the brewer's website is bad. Really they never update the minor league stuff, and now they mess this up. Whatever... Just love beating those scrubbies.
  11. I just hope things run smoothly so everyone is happy and ready to go. No hassles like the last few years.
  12. I would say no pressure at all. Piece o'cake for the guy. Glad he got to see a good game, and hope he takes some of Podzilla's patience at the plate with him. Good role model for being a centerfielder. Takes your walks, have a good batting eye, and get on base any way you can.
  13. Like they say: Where there is a will, there is a way. That I think is the Rickie Weeks motto. He will find a way to be successful and we will be there to watch it happen. Just want him signed, sealed, and delivered to Beloit to be able to see the goods up close and personal.
  14. Just an overall good game. Good to see Helms come back from that plunking to hit those bombs. I believe it was one to right and left I think. Either way it was good to see. Also it was good to see Franklin keep pitching well. His ERA is almost below 5. That is great considering that it was in the high 9's earlier in the season.
  15. What is taking so long for this guy to sign? I mean for cry'n out loud the rest of the group of top ten has signed with the obvious exception of Weeks, but what major stipulation is keeping him from signing? Also any word about the picks lower down on the ladder?
  16. I agree with Nikip there about the good eye. If he can hit like his pops and have his batting eye that is fine by me. Hit .360 or whatever and he can sit in whatever outfield position he wants.
  17. If Rickie works as hard as he does now he will adjust just fine to this level and beyond. Hard work does pay off and this guy just works his tail off. But like AL has said patience is needed with him and basically anyone that is drafted. If you rush that is when failure most often occurs.
  18. I have no idea what has gotten into Billy Hall, but I like it!! I like it a lot!! It will be kind of interesting to see when he will get a call back up by us. I am thinking after EY is traded because it will happen. It will be fun to watch him play up here.
  19. I would love to have Moss in HD. I think he would put up some crazy numbers. It will be just some kind of fun when these kids get there. God only knows that HD needs them!!
  20. I think this is the best Sheets has pitched all year. I just hope he builds off this and goes on a tear.
  21. It is just nice to see that we are getting all our top picks to sign and get on the field. All we truly have left to sign is Weeks and Wooley!! Let's get it done and get them on the field too. I also believe with the bevy of catchers that we have that it is time to move Pedro E. up to HD. Otherwise send VandenBerg because one or the other needs to move up.
  22. Seriously lets just let the cards fall where they should predicting just doesn't do any good, but to help you lose your hair or turn it gray.
  23. It is time to put Glendon to rest!! Stick the fork in him he is done. I can't take his horrible pitching anymore. I just hope that they do something with him. Bring up Pascual Coco. He is pitching good enough down at Indy, or bring up that Childers and see what he can do. He used to be a starter too at one time. Just really tired of the same old thing. The Brewers are 2-13 when Glendon pitches. Enough said!
  24. I just hope Glendon keeps us in the game for a little while. That is all I hope for. Just long enough for us to get some offense in and then go to the bullpen. Praise the lord if he can stay out there longer than that though.
  25. Henderson still pitched pretty decent considering that he only made one mistake. Not too bad for a guy who only pitched like 16 or so innings last year. I'll take it for a start.
