    As a long time Brewers fan I can feel this season slipping away, much like I've experienced many hopefull seasons go down the drain over the years. Yeah I'm probably going overboard but we've seen this in the past. I gotta think that since we hit the 24-10 mark, we've got to have one of the worst records in baseball. That's a pathetic stat given that we have three of the top players at their positions in the league (Fielder, Cordero, JJ). Talk about not playing up to your potential. Adios Ned, whether it's this week, the next or October, get your resume ready because you're going to get canned sooner or later.

    Alright, I'm reaching panic mode. 14 games over .500 and now down to 5. We're playing horrible baseball and the rest of the division is starting to turn things around. On top of losing to one of the worst teams in baseball tonight we have to play Detroit/Minnesota next. Honestly, how is this team going to be above .500 when they return home? This series reminds me of the series at Kansas City last year. We all thought we were going to roll them and we got swept. Let's just say I have a bad feeling about this series. And as a long time Yost defender, I'm starting to think enough is enough. This is pathetic.

    Have one regular Fielder bobble up for trade. I'd like to trade it for two mini's so if anyone has Molitor, Sutton, or will have a Caldwell Let me know.

    Well this makes a complete week that the Brewers have looked like garbage. It would be really nice to get this bad baseball out of our system today and win the next two before the big west coast trip.

    My car didn't start this morning, it's all Ned Yost's fault. I especially hated how Ned called for a hit and run with Bush at the plate in the second that ended up scoring two runs. What an idiot!

    NO TV TOMORROW?!? Unreal...because they moved the game time, FSN will show the Bucks instead of the Brewers. Maybe I'll just go to a bar and catch the game on MLB Extra Innings. Oh whoops, I forgot it will be blacked out here since we are so close to St. Louis....Thanks MLB!

    I know they can't play tonight, but how they're gonna play tomorrow is beyond me. Saturday Weather in STL Maybe we could move the series to Houston? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Seriously though, it wouldn't shock me if tomorrow's game were cancelled and we play two on Sunday.

    This may have been asked earlier in the thread, but what happens if they can't finish the game tonight? Would they just resume the game tomorrow, say an hour before first pitch for the Wednesday night game?

    I wish we had a team like the Marlins. Wasn't this how this Brewers franchise was supposed to be right about now? A bunch of very young, very talented players...mostly singles/doubles contact hitters with a big time power guy in the middle? For all the hoopla we've heard about our farm system over the past few years the Marlins have a lot more and better young talent than we do.

    Couple of notes... -The Cub$ lineup is scary good. Soriano, Lee, Ramirez are all-stars. And when guys like DeRosa, Izturis, and Barrett are hitting the ball...wow. I wish we could buy a winning team. -I'm afraid Sheets will get hurt by the long ball a couple of times today. He is known for it and the Cubs have a lot of good fastball hitters. -If we haven't done damage to Zambrano by the third inning, we're in big trouble. You can usually tell how his day is going to go by the first couple of innings. We really need this one today...I'm worried about tomorrow's matchup with Brewer killer Wade Miller.

    It's never a good thing when (numbers wise) the worst pitcher we're going to face this series is Dontrelle Willis. I predict a lot of low scoring games.

    Turnbow comes into a tie game in the bottom of the ninth and the Brewers lose? Gee, didn't see that coming. Has there been a worse "All-Star" in the history of baseball? LOL.

    Geez, these nagging injuries are worse than Tommy John surgery. I used to defend Ben when people would put him in the same class as Kerry Wood and Mark Prior but I'm not so sure anymore.

    Here's my post from before Monday's game: I wouldn't say Monday's game was "heartbreaking" but it was definitely winnable. Outside of that I was dead on.

    That's a good way of putting it. If the Brewers end up with a 78-84 record but finish 1 game out of the wild card, is it a successful season?
