  1. My bad- I didn't check the latest returns on Hart. I know he used to be very good.
  2. To answer your questions..yes and no. Jennings and Hart are very good signers TTM. Braun, Rodgers, and Hawk are a little less reliable. I send all of my stuff to the team address. For the Brewers I send to Maryvale until about 2 weeks before opening day, then I'll send to Miller Park. For the Packers I send to Lambeau. Sites like SportsGraphing or Sportscollectors.net have home addresses and stuff like that. Duke Snider has quit signing for now. Some have said that he is currently ill. Rollie Fingers signs for 10 bucks through his address in Las Vegas. Shoot me a PM and I'll answer any other questions.
  3. Lawrie is a 0% (0-7) on SC.net. I sent to him last year in Appleton and never got a return. I guess you could always try. Usually Gamel doesn't sign TTM but he is signing like crazy this year according to the boards.
  4. Yes, Lucroy has been almost automatic by sending to Maryvale this spring.
  5. I believe mine is covered under my Renter's insurance. When I got my renters insurance I had to list all the items that I wanted specially listed. I also have my guitars and that sort of stuff lsted on it. I will actually be double checking my insurance policy now that I've read this discussion. It doesn't jack up the price just too much. I do need to keep a detailed list of stuff that I have.
  6. At least last year- Counsell waited until the end of the season to return most items. Like stated though- he is almost automatic.
  7. I did the same thing! I wish I'd waited!
  8. I had a return on a hoffman ball last year. I sent it during the first week of spring training and got it back in about 2 weeks personalized and signed on the SS. Supercollector is totally right, I just paid for the 15 dollar SC.net and I love it.
  9. It was my first year doing the On-Deck so me and my buddy who came with me focused on getting Yount. We were there about 6:45 or so- I was able to get my powder blue replica jersey signed....the Jersey was a gift or I would have bought an authentic one. Tried to get Escobar and Gamel but the line was cutoff about 5 people in front of me-spent too much time checking out the vendors. Was able to pick up some cool stuff at the vendors. I was on a strict budget this year- hopefully in the future I can spend some more time checking out the rummage sales and vendors as opposed to the autographs.
  10. Ok- I got no idea where I got that number from. I know I read it somewhere. My bad.
  11. I know I don't post on here very often, I mostly read other posts to catch the news and opinions rather than post myself....I'm more less nervous that I'll write something stupid. I've only been collecting for two years or so. I got started after seeing the collection pictures on this fanboard. I love the hobby of collecting- but I live over 3 hours away from Milwaukee and don't get a chance to do Auto Fridays or hawk for sigs outside of the stadium. I am quite jealous of those who can. I'm also a beginning teacher and don't have the disposable income to pick up more expensive items and my collection is pretty medicore compared to everyone else on here, I would actually be embarrassed to post pictures. I was looking very forward to the On Deck, this is the first year I have been able to go and I was hoping to get Fielder to sign a custom picture done by a local photographer. I'm quite disappointed but I figure I'll still go and hope that I get an auto or two- I guess I'm a little nervous with the 20,000 people who are supposed to be there. Anyway- mad props to the collectors out there- you guys got some awesome stuff, and you are devoted to your hobby- hopefully I can sneak in and grab a few as well. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Hope everyone enjoys their day on Sunday.
  12. BHF- DMiles beat me to it. Hopefully it was inaccurate, there is still no note by Fielder on the website. I still plan on bringing my own stuff for Fielder until there is a note on Fielder like there is on Braun.
  13. According to McCalvey's article both Fielder and Braun will be signing the photo cards- not sure if that's accurate though since the website only says that Braun will not sign outside memorabellia. I might have to email and check, I was hoping to get a sweet Fielder 11x14 signed.
  14. Got my bobble yesterday, thanks
  15. I think the photo is Kennesaw Mountain Landis. Nice Blog- I would not have the discipline to keep one up. Best of luck with the journalism career.
  16. The tickets have found a very good home. Thank you to all who looked.
  17. Just Casey McGehee on a Brewers issued 5x7. Took about 10 days.
  18. I have two tickets for the 6/27 game in the Field Bleachers that I cannot attend. I am offering them up for 10 bucks a piece. Please let me know if you are interested. Moose
  19. It was in Seattle's dugout, the Brewers are listed as the opponent. I checked to make sure that the lineup changes matched with the box score on baseball-reference. Its not signed by a manager, but I'm not sure they signed the dugout cards in the 80s, just the official lineup cards that they handed to the umpire.
  20. Dugout Lineup card from an 1987 Mariners-Brewers game in Seattle. Has Yount listed batting second and Bill Schroeder DHing in the clean up spot (lol). Picked it up for 15 bucks...decent pickup or no?
