Weeks Morgan Braun Fielder McGehee Hart Counsell Lucroy Narveson That's the lineup according to McCalvy. I really hope he just accidentally flip flopped Hart and McGehee. Otherwise this makes no sense. EDIT: Nope, according to TH apparently it's because McGehee has hit Lohse better in his career than Hart. Ugh.

Just saw Lucroy at Chipotle. I guess he's getting geared up for the game with some burrito fuel.

I think Melvin is just sitting there hoping they pick it up, but it's probably around the time where he's starting to realize he needs a solution. He's not stupid. We're in a race this year, so he'll do something to improve the team if it's there. I think he was hoping he'd get something out of Yuni, which didn't happen. He probably also thinks McGehee is still the player he was last year, which is still possible. I have more hope for McGehee than I do Betancourt. Melvin at least needs to improve the SS position. We can't afford to have 2 guys struggling this bad. One can be covered up, but not 2.

My presence at this game tonight should equal a win. I figure I'm good luck since I was at the only win last series, and have seen 8 wins in a row at Miller Park. Knock on wood.

Agreed. Hart better be hitting 5th the whole time. McGehee shouldn't even be hitting 6th at this point. -
Keep in mind the NL will be using a DH also, so that creates a spot for Fielder. He definitely deserves to be on the team, and I think he will. Fielder and Votto will both be on the team for sure. Just for the record, the NL roster has had 4 1B the last 2 years. Wouldn't be surprised to see Howard make it also.

I think we'll at least keep one of Greinke and Marcum.

The batting order is a lot better against righties with Morgan 2, Hart 5, and McGehee 6. At this point I'd put Lucroy 6 and McGehee 7 though.

But sadly, McGehee has a lower batting average.

Well, tough draw against K-Rod, but Braun and Fielder can hit anybody.

I think it's about time to give Nyjer a chance against lefties. Gomez can't get a hit off them anyway.

Might as well play Morgan everyday, so McGehee can hit 6th. Also, might as well play Wilson or Counsell at SS right now. At least they work counts and draw walks.

This sucks. I wish we had someone good enough to drive in a run behind Fielder. Maybe hitting Lucroy ahead of McGehee and Betancourt would help Roenicke.

Yep, might as well walk Fielder there. McGehee hasn't done anything lately to show he can drive in these runs anyway.
