  1. The way things are going lately, it's more likely a single and a dinger to lead off the 7th, seven straight outs, then another single and a walk-off job in the ninth (Braun leads off the 7th) Yep, very true. In fact, that's probably the only way we'll win. Not sure anyone but Braun and Fielder will do anything.
  2. I like the optimism. Unfortunately we only have room for one bloop before Fielder bats this inning.
  3. Nice at-bat from Wilson. Maybe the rest of the lineup should take notes. Work the count.
  4. Yep. I think they should give Morgan a chance to play everyday. If he shows he can't hit lefties, then they can go back to a platoon. At this point, Gomez can't hit anyone so it doesn't help.
  5. And he gets out of the jam...there's what, ONE lefthanded reliever in the Brewer pen right now? Why even think of using him now when he might be more useful later in the game if it isn't out of hand? So you use a right handed specialist?I agree, it was a questionable decision there. But really, Dillard has been good lately and we don't have a ton of other options. Estrada has been bad lately, and they are probably saving Mitre for after Dillard.
  6. Predictable performance from the bottom of the order right there. Gomez is just ridiculously bad at the plate.
  7. Yeah. As long as the top of the order is due up. Not too confident with every else. They proved last night they can make up a deficit quickly. All you need is baserunners for Braun and Fielder. That seems to be the answer lately.
  8. Great throw by Hart. No chance to score on that one.
  9. Dillard has been surprisingly good since he came up. Maybe side-arming is the answer for him.
  10. Yeah, they've shown it plenty of times. And he was in the booth.
  11. Yeah, we should have DFA'd or released Yovani when he had a 6.10 ERA after 7 starts this year too right? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Haha, no kidding. Give the guy a break. He'll pick it up.
  12. Looked like Yo could battle through it there for awhile, but it just caught up to him. I guess the dream streak couldn't last forever.
  13. Stupid decision to throw home there by Braun. Now 2 runners are in scoring position.
  14. Yeah, gotta keep the faith. Just like the other night when he said Greinke was looking like a bad pickup, and then he threw a gem. Just gotta hang in there and stay behind your guys.
  15. Prince is unreal right now. Too bad Casey is hitting behind him. No one to drive him in. I guess that's why he decided to hit so many home runs lately.
  16. And Prince gets it done! These guys are just unbelievable, especially Prince right now! He is ridiculously on fire.
  17. Way to go Braunie. At least someone worked the count.
  18. No doubt. Rickie's first 3 at-bats last night were all absolute ropes right to Beltran.
  19. Yep, cuz we all wanna see our pen cover 5 innings. He can fight through this. He's not doing horrible.
  20. The offense looked pretty good last night. Major difference when we face lefties, and have no Nyjer, McGehee hitting 5th, and Gomez in the lineup. But with how bad they look so far tonight, doesn't surprise me that Ron put the infield in there.
  21. When your lineup has McGehee, Betancourt, and Gomez in it you don't take many pitches. And on top of that the rest of the guys can be free swingers at times also. So it doesn't add up.
  22. As long as Furcal can last about 2 months or so, we're good. I think he can. It's not like he's the long-term solution.
  23. I do recall him having some type of no-trade, yes.
  24. Gomez isn't capable of making a throw on the money. I haven't seen him make a good throw all year.
  25. Yeah, there's no way McGehee should hit 5th anymore. I don't care who is pitching, righty or lefty.
