  1. (I posted this over at NSBB, too). This seems to be a game quite like Goal Line Blitz (football), which I am sure some of you have played. You can create many players and add points to their attributes as you see fit. Sign up with this link. http://www.mmobaseball.com/createaccount.aspx?ref=8115 I am just trying it out, but it looks fun.
  2. I hope you listened to me
  3. Cutler and Rodgers
  4. Entourage Weeds Prison Break The Office
  5. http://goallineblitz.com/game/signup.pl?ref=22834187 create and develop your own player as you see fit.
  6. cubfan1126 i would be careful about trash talk until the series ends. me and most of the other cubs fans are being careful
  7. Thanks for that, I won't be posting here during the game for obvious reasons. I had been thinking about joining here for a long time but had never bothered to sign up. I am Vanilla Ice on NSBB and thats where I will be posting tonight. I would guess that the Brewers will take this one with the Cubs winning the fourth game. I fully expect Lilly to get shelled today. Also, how has Weeks been doing recently P.S. diesmitty, whats your name on NSBB?
  8. This is the game that really scares me as a Cubs fan. Lilly is our worst starter that is going this series and the Brewers mash lefties. Braun is the guy that I am really scared of. He absolutely destroys lefties and is on a tear. I would like Lilly to not give him anything to hit, with a lefty hitting behind him. Also, the Cubs bullpen isn't going to be very good today. Woody is on the DL, Samardzija and Gaudin cannot go today. Marmol and Marshall can go an inning if they have to. Cotts and Eyre are rested. Howry just scares me no matter when he pitches. Lilly really needs to go six innings here, or else Eyre and Howry are both pitching
  9. is it immature of me that i thought this thread being on page 69 was funny
  10. I have no idea so I am going to ask. When he first got hurt, I thought he was definitely going to be out for the season has that changed or was i wrong?
  11. The other thing that makes Harden effective is that Marshall is used to "piggyback him" Marshall came in and gave up one run in three innings, which effectively makes Harden's start 8 IP 2 ER because Marshall is being used mostly to give innings when Harden can't.
  12. I don't mind that too much. Things like giving Fontenot most of his playing time against LHP using mostly a strict platoon with Johnson/Edmonds riding the hot hand last year when Theriot and Fontenot got hot it looks like Samardzija is going to be used in a big role using DeRosa to get his other starters days off.
  13. This is my first post here. I think Lou is probably better at working with players and sets his lineup better. Yost did experiment with hitting the pitcher eighth, which is a good thing. but then, he will do something like platooning his fifth starters. They both make a lot of dumb in-game decisions, though. Lou uses Marmol and Howry way too much and has a tendency to burn pinch hitters unnecessarily. Yost double switches a little too much. I think the Cubs come out ahead here, but both have their strong points and their negative points.
