Hey Brewers fans, I'm one of those guys who (in the playoffs) likes to read what fans of the other team are saying. It's an opportunity to get a different perspective on the games and learn about a city and team I don't know anything about. For the last week I've been lurking here and reading the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, and I made an account today because I want to say that you guys are absolutely some of the best fans I have ever encountered in any sport. Although I should point that I *am* from Philadelphia. Joking aside, it's really been great. In the paper, and here, and looking at the huge crowds at the games on TV, I see fans who are passionate, knowledgeable, and devoting to both their team and the game of baseball. JSOnline has had a lot of stories commenting on the fact that the Brewers are a "small market" team that has been "audacious" this season, but outside of those articles I haven't seen a shred of evidence supporting that idea. I've seen brilliant pitching in games one, two, and three, exciting plays on offense and defense, and huge LOUD crowds at every game. Whatever it is you're doing, you're doing it right. I just wanted to let you guys know that you really made an impression on me. I really hope that you can keep some of the key pieces this offseason and keep building up the payroll. Although I do suggest trying to get Tampa Bay value for your dollars rather than New York value. Good luck!
