  1. Man too bad Winn made a great catch on Weeks' liner to right. Gameday is pretty sweet that you can watch clips once in a while with Uecker announcing.
  2. Unfortunately there aren't too many around anymore in Wisconsin, but Hardees has been amazing ever since they switched the menu. I never like Mushroom and Swiss burgers but the Hardees one is ridiculously awesome because they put their gravy on it. It mixes with the melted swiss and it is heaven. Plus you can't go wrong with curly fries.
  3. I think it is pretty unfair to use Nelson's career AAA numbers given his injury unless you want to make the argument that this year is a fluke and not due to him finally being healthy.
  4. New rumor is that it is Zach Jackson and Rob Bryson which would be awesome.
  5. Your actual major is pretty irrelevant, at least in regards in the fields you are looking at. GET AN INTERNSHIP. This is everything! It gives you practical experience for employers to see but more importantly, it will give you an outlook on what you actually want to do. I am 24 so I am not too far from your position and I can tell you this, your major doesn't matter. After going through the interview gauntlet, there is almost no emphasis placed on your major/gpa. It's just a piece of paper to get your foot in the door. It's all about your actual experience you can discuss and your interview/social skills, nothing more.
  6. I bought my Sharp Aquos 46 inch last October and I don't regret it one bit. It really is a huge difference. I'll never forget watching a playoff baseball game and being able to see the stitches and type of spin on the ball. Absolutely ridiculous when they replayed in slow mo following a ball into a guy and seeing the impact on his leg. If you are a sports fan at all you are doing yourself a disservice by not getting one.
  7. Brian and Bill are fine. I'll admit I laughed when Bill questioned how Brian had such good memory and he replied "clean livin." I like Trenni but the pregame show with Davey and Craig is absolutely terrible. I mean really, here I am reading a Brewers messageboard and anything else about the Brewers yet I don't think for one second to even bother watching the pregame and postgame show. I am not expecting groundbreaking analysis but its just too awkward and clumsy for me to handle. One complaint I do have is with the sound. It's hard to get a good read on how loud the crowd is and I wish they would pipe it in better when the crowd is roaring. That will get me more excited than some goofy home run call.
  8. It actually looks like Cameron is the favorite for the two hole, which I approve rather than having Hardy there.
  9. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7890610?MSNHPHMA The article also mentions Braun's transition to LF and how he should do well, but what I like is that the article at the end mentions LaPorta and how a scout thinks he is a beast and should rise to the big leagues fast.
  10. You barely have anything left to take and most are joke classes anyway so it's pretty irrelevant about the class demographics. I agree with the Borland recommendation, now that I think about it I think I didn't even show up for the majority of the classes and got an A. Even if you get a teacher who is strict on their rules and attendence, it's still a joke. Interesting choice between math or science, obviously if you are great at math just take it because it's less class hours but it may be harder due to your layoff. I personally would find a science class more interesting so I would go with that, especially since you barely have to study for them. Obviously stick to Geology, Astronomy, Physical Geography since Chemistry, Biology, etc is a much bigger investment.
  11. The best play before games is to park near Bluemound anyway and take the bar shuttles in. Get dropped off right in front of the stadium, use parking money on dollar egg rolls and other food plus cheap pitchers at Long Wong's, and not deal with any traffic whatsoever? It's a no brainer.
  12. Mario has been playable at Gamestop for a week or two if you want to give it a test run. Full game too.
  13. Warioware would be great for a 5 year old. It's a bunch of silly quick challenges that speed up as you go along, like brushing your teeth with the remote or pretending to do a hula hoop. Good game. Get Mario Strikers if you want a sports game for him. If you played the old adventure games or love puzzle games, Zack and Wiki is a must buy. For some reason Capcom didn't advertise or push this game at all even though the game is great and review sites are raving over it. Some great games are coming out or have recently come out, including the forementioned Zack and Wiki, Battalion Wars which is like a real time strategy game except you are in control of a unit as you command the rest and can switch to any unit in your command, ie switch from an infantry to a tank. Fire Emblem is a great strategy RPG if you are into that type of stuff, horribly addicting as you try to perfect your tactics. All three Lego Star Wars games is also being released together if you had never played those, I never have but it's always been held in a higher regard. Mario and Sonic Olympics and Rayman Raving Rabbids is also coming out if you still need your minigame fix. Resident Evil rail shooter is also due out. Medal of Honor looks great and will have 32 people online play. All these games for November and I didn't even mention Mario yet, yeesh.
  14. End of Rocky is on Spike right now if you want to get in the right mood.
  15. I hope Hart takes over leadoff and Weeks bats fifth.
