  1. I know we all shuddered when we saw him in the 2 hole. Lucroy would've been the best option probably or Carroll in a nice spot to see good pitches in front of Braun.
  2. I don't mind that bunt strategy at this ballpark, hopefully this isn't where having Wilson in the 2 hole hurts us though.
  3. Carroll smashed his hit last inning to third also... hopefully he can stick and be a nice addition to the Big Club.
  4. That one wasn't due to Yuni trying to be "aggressive" though. He just read the ball poorly... still a bad out, but we can't blame that one on RR's "aggressive" baserunning strategy.
  5. Yeah, before sitting out those games, he was clearly a good obp / avg hitter but had lost his power stroke. He's driving the ball now again.
  6. Good night all. Hopefully our Sunday lineup can go get 'em tomorrow. I like Yo vs this lineup.
  7. And there's your ball that Carroll or Nyjer catch easily. Why not just let Carroll hit even after they bring in Romo.... or just let Nyjer hit against Affeldt. He can always bunt.
  8. Must be nice to have 2 above average LHP in your bullpen.
  9. Now he calls that a strike? That hasn't been a strike all night!
  10. Yep. Wasn't assuming that. Just knowing that he had to be thinking about whether to go to Loe there or not, either before he went to the mound or while he was out there. Otherwise he wouldn't have been warming up. Has nothing to do with what Rock said.
  11. If we don't score here, it's going to have to be off Romo and Wilson... not an easy task.
  12. This is one time when I actually think RR did the right thing. Wolf deserved a chance to work out of that. He had made Rowand look bad twice on strike outs earlier too, although he did give up a single to him as well. I didn't mind that at all in this situation. Let's make it matter now bats.
  13. Schierholtz is wearing out Wolf. Singlehandedly carrying the Giants offense tonight.
  14. Casey got his 1 hit for the night. Unfortunately it's when Rickie was thrown out at home!
  15. Terrible job by Ryan to set up to make a strong throw there. This game has been kinda crazy. We should be killing them it seems but we're down.
  16. Unreal how many freaking outs we make on the bases with the "aggressive" Roenicke style. Ugh. You can't take the bat out of Braun and Fielder's hands there T.
  17. Plush! Nobody I'd rather have up in that spot so far this year... that's amazing to say.
  18. Alright, our turn to grab the momentum back. Nice job stranding 2nd and 3rd Randy!
  19. What a turn of events. It's almost predictable after you fill your pants on the bases the inning before.
  20. I was really feeling good about George there. He had fouled off a couple good pitches.
  21. That's a frustrating inning on the bases. Seems like we could've had a big inning there. Based on Casey's reaction to Sedar, I'm guessing Roenicke called for a delayed steal to draw a throw and try to score Casey. If that's the case, it's completely idiotic! Either way, we ran into 2 outs when Vogelsong couldn't get anyone out!
  22. Those pitches are clearly outside. I just hope that the crowd moaning on every pitch will not influence Holbrook to start calling them wrong.
