Yeah, it operates a lot better on my computer for some reason too. Thanks though, that makes sense as they had pitch 2 and 3 inside the top of the zone.

No break is a great sign. Can anyone with some reasonable experience tell us how long a severe sprain (if that's what it is) would put Rickie out?

Just got online and saw the news about Rickie. Doesn't sound good. And now I see we stranded a great opportunity 2nd and 3rd, no outs. Although the injury is a much bigger deal.

I'm still thrilled that we're tied for 1st after this 11 game trip. We need to address either SS or 3B as we can probably win with one of Yuni or Casey but not both. However, we're in a great spot after playing our toughest stretch over the last 40 days or so. Much needed day off tomorrow and then come out strong against the Lovable Losers.

Romo's slider is one of the nastiest pitches in all of baseball.

Bruce Bochy is a very good if not great manager. He really understands how to play matchups both offensively and with his pitchers. He always seems to be a step ahead of RR (not that surprising). He also has incredible toys with which to work in his pen with 2 stud RHP, 2 well above average LHP and 3 other above average RHP. But I'm not convinced that all managers would have San Fran where they are in the standings, even with the great pitching. He just calls the right shots more often than not.

I agree completely. I said a 5-6 trip was my goal, but if we lose the last 2 games in winnable situations to end up there, it will hurt a little. This team will really enjoy the day off tomorrow. Here's hoping for a 6-3 or better home stand coming up.

I know there are 4 innings left, but this is a crucial inning here. Heart of the order coming up and next time they come up, it will probably be against Romo and/or the 2 lhps in their pen.
