I watched it (the celebration). It wasn't all that bad. Whatever. Great year, thanks for the memories. Later Prince, it's been real (bringing back the 90s). Heck, I don't even mind the Cards winning it.
For teams like the Cubs and Red Sox (prior to their run) they could always say there's always next year. I feel like there is a better chance that the Brewers will move out of Milwaukee than they will win the World Series in my lifetime. That's why I hate this moment because I honestly believe that.
The Cardinals showed why a bullpen might be more valuable than SP in the playoffs with all these off days. The Brewers showed why SP might be more valuable than bullpens in the playoffs as well. I am confused.
Oh what could have been... Hawkins for 2 Saito for 2 Krod for 2 Axford for 2 Whoever to finish. Of course I am kidding but I think this game was lost in the first inning. Yeah they came back but never all the way. Just imagine playing with a lead and the crowd behind you, it might have been different.
The Cards can go on and win the World Series, I really don't care. I won't watch a minute of it just like I haven't watched it the past 5 years. Packer season officially starts in five outs for me.
I didn't like Marcum starting but I also didn't like the alternatives. I thought if he has a quick, LaRussa type hook, that we could still overcome some sloppiness. I didn't expect four runs to come so quickly. I guess I was blinded by homerism.
